A powerful way to release and transmute emotional heaviness is to practise forgiveness. A lack of forgiveness puts you out of alignment with living a joyful life. When you open to forgiveness you unblock your heart and let go of the protective armour around you. Forgiveness does not mean condoning a person's behaviour. You are forgiving the person not what they did to you. It also doesn’t mean you have to have these people in your life if you need to protect yourself or just want to move on. You can forgive them and let them go with love. Forgiveness frees you so that you are no longer controlled or limited by what happened in your past. When heavy feelings like anger or resentment come up about a person or a situation, these beautiful affirmations by Louise Hay will guide you to forgiveness and letting go of the heavy energy that surrounds the situation. I have also included a few affirmations for self-forgiveness and moving on, with love.

A really powerful and fast track way to transmute emotional heaviness is to practice forgiveness.

Lack of forgiveness puts you out of alignment with living a joyful life.

When you open to forgiveness,

You unblock your heart and remove the protective armor around you.

Forgiveness does not mean condoning a person's behavior.

You are forgiving the person,

Not what they did to you.

It also doesn't mean you have to have this person or people in your life if you need to protect yourself or just move on.

You can forgive them and let them go with love.

It means freeing yourself so that you are no longer controlled or limited by what happened in your past.

When heavy feelings like anger or resentment comes up about a person or a situation,

Sit quietly with your hand on your heart.

You may also have shame for yourself,

For something from your distant or not so distant past.

I'm now going to share some beautiful affirmations by Louise Hay for forgiveness and moving on and letting go.

So if you wish,

You may like to close your eyes and just allow the words to wash all over you.

And soothe your heart with them.

The door to my heart opens inward.

I move through forgiveness to love.

I am forgiving,

Loving,

Gentle,

And kind.

And I know that life loves me.

I forgive everyone in my past for all perceived wrongs.

I release them with love.

I return to the basics of life.

Forgiveness,

Courage,

Gratitude,

Love,

And humor.

It is now safe for me to release all of my childhood traumas and move into love.

I am ready to be healed.

I am willing to forgive.

All is well.

I move beyond forgiveness to understanding and I have compassion for all.

I forgive myself for not being perfect.

I am living the very best way I know how.

When I make a mistake,

I realize that it is only part of the learning process.

As I forgive myself,

It becomes easier to forgive others.

It is no fun being a victim.

I refuse to be helpless anymore.

I claim my own power.

The past is over,

So it has no power now.

The thoughts of this moment create my future.

I let go of the past and move joyfully into the future.

Each day is a new opportunity.

Yesterday is over and done.

Today is the first day of my future.

If your eyes are closed,

You can gently open them now.

These affirmations can create powerful shifts in our energy fields,

Allowing us to have a more joy-filled life.
