Welcome to this practice of Soul Gardening Yoga Nidra,
Where you will be guided to relax deeply,
Letting go of stress and habitual thinking.
We withdraw from the outside world to Soul Garden,
To tend to our inner worlds,
In the state between consciousness and subconsciousness.
We remember who we are,
Ready to return and connect with others,
Feeling rejuvenated and energized,
To fulfill what makes us feel worthy and purposeful.
Let's begin.
Relax onto a flat surface where you will be comfortable.
You can have an eye mask over your eyes,
And pillows under your head,
Your knees,
On top of your belly.
Whatever will be most comfortable for you.
If you need to put on more clothes or grab a blanket to stay warm,
Please do so.
Coming to rest on your back if it's comfortable.
Let the weight of your body sink into the surface beneath you.
Imagine your body heavy,
Imprinting itself upon the surface.
Feet,
Belly button,
Head,
All in a row.
Arms out to the sides near your waist.
Hands and palms facing upwards,
Curving naturally.
Your feet relaxed,
Slightly turned outwards.
Intentionally stimulating the vagus nerve into relaxation.
Breathing out through the pelvic floor,
Gently yet fully relaxed.
Wave your fingers slightly,
Until they are moving so slightly it can't be detected from the outside.
Keep your belly loose,
Gently rolling along with the breath.
Shoulders apart and softly rolling.
Rolling slower and slower until undetected.
The neck is loose and circulating round and round.
Moving slower until undetected.
Moving the jaw like eating in slow motion.
So slow it's invisible.
Making saliva,
Swallowing when you need to.
Moving your lips ever so slightly,
Smiling to neutral.
Eyes rolling up and out,
Down and in.
Small circles,
Hardly detectable.
Feeling relaxed and calm.
If you haven't already,
Close your eyes,
Or lower your gaze.
Make any final adjustments to perfect your comfort now,
As we move into stillness and remain still for the rest of the practice.
Only our bodies will remain still.
Our minds are awake,
Aware and energized.
Seeds into our subconscious mind,
So we can share the most magnificent blooms in our lives.

Lying upon the freezing solid ground of winter,

The body experiencing cold,
Giving way to the great thaw,
The body experiencing heat,
The thermometers overheat,
Until they burst from the glass,
Burning red hot,

Until the shadow of a cloud provides relief,
Revealing the beauty of summer,
The flowers blooming magnificently,
The seas of red,
Orange,
Yellow and green,
Blue,
Violet,
White and purple,
All the magnificent blooms on full display,
The dream realized,
The heart's desires come to life,
From formless into form,
Visions dancing,
A performance for the eyes,
A natural flow of sight and insight,
A big picture view,
Seeing all at once,
Seeing belonging,
Safety,
Fun,
Excitement,
Purpose,
Meaning,
Love and compassion,
Confidence and understanding,
Freedom,
Choice,
Enlightenment,
Inner knowing,
Transpiring for you now,
Going back in time to the spring before the summer,
The summer of the dream realized,
Visualizing the buds that will soon be blooms,
Little balls of potential energy,
To the time when behind the scenes is a buzz of activity,
Or perhaps in a period of stillness,
After the harvest,
The time when the work on the inside is invisible to the outside world,
Meaningful achievements are a result from long journeys,
Of continual and consistent action,
Such is the rewarding work of a sankalpa,
Visualize what it's like in the spring,

The lulls that come and go,
The parts of the process,

Rained out loneliness and sunny happy production,
Heavy wet saturation and light airy freedom,
Such is the nature of life on earth,
Going forward in time to tomorrow,
Visualizing tomorrow's potential,
What it will bring,
As you work with heartfelt intention towards your sankalpa realized,
What actions would bring you closer tomorrow than you are today,
Commit to these actions,
Opening your energy channels,
All obstructions removed,
Energy flowing freely throughout the body,

And release it into the energy flow of your body,
Allowing this energy to flow,
Filling every part of your being,
Allow this energy to awaken your body,

Saying hello to the outside world,

And then moving it back towards the left,

Gently shaking your arms and legs,
Circulating the muscles of the torso,
Moving gently in any way that feels good to you,
Turning to the center,
And then to the left,
And then to the right,
Turning to the side when you are ready,
And lifting up to a seated position,
Placing your hands to your heart,
