Good morning.

Welcome to this brand new day.

You may be lying still in your bed or you may have taken a seat for this early morning meditation.

Take a breath in,

Opening up to the new day and breathing out,

Releasing the dreams of yesterday.

Another breath in,

Opening up and breathing out.

Like a bud of a flower,

You are entering into this new day where anything is possible.

You are not held to the ideas of yesterday.

You are not held to the beliefs of yesterday.

In this new present,

You have the opportunity to change and create your future.

Like the new bud opening up to sunlight,

Fed with water,

You are also fresh and opening up.

Fuelling yourself with nourishment,

Nourishing your body,

Your mind,

Your soul.

Make a commitment to yourself,

A commitment to remaining open and truly seeing what is around you.

Trust in the knowing that you will grow and be supported.

Know that you will find the evidence today.

Be the beautiful flower,

Stretching out and exploring the world at large around you.

Allow your soul to expand further out than it did yesterday.

Visualize yourself opening up to the day's possibilities,

To the offerings of opportunities and potential.

Commit to being receptive,

To being present.

Breathe in deeply,

Expanding your belly out and then your ribs opening up.

As you exhale,

Ground yourself,

Feeling your roots and your support.

Breathe in again,

Opening up like the flower and breathing out,

Reaching down into the nourishing soil.

One more time,

Taking your biggest breath of the day,

Allowing the air to fill you up completely.

And exhale slowly,

Slowly open your eyes,

Open your heart and open your mind to this brand new day.

Namaste.
