Welcome to this guided meditation called Relax and Empower.

I want you to focus on complete relaxation,

Because this will re-energise and empower you.

This is not a sleeping relaxation,

As that often includes a busy mind.

But a switching off now from all distractions is required to get the full benefits from this guided meditation called Relax and Empower.

So sitting down please or lay down.

Keeping warm will cancel out distractions.

Now be aware of your breath as a few good inhales of power breaths,

Big breaths in and fully exhale those breaths fully will help the heart and mind to calm and relax you.

We are going to talk the body down to complete silence.

Starting at the face,

Just let all those tiny muscles and expressions become soft and still.

Let them recharge themselves and onto the core of the body,

The back,

The tummy.

Let them go heavy,

Then soft,

Then silent.

Allow the arms and legs to soften and become still and recharge themselves.

It's time to focus on the feet,

The feet that we walk on in life on beautiful Mother Earth that is abundant with nature.

It is important to feel grounded now and anchored to Earth as this will totally recharge and empower you.

Be aware now that the soles of the feet are not just what you walk on but are completely supported by the solid ground that belongs to our beautiful planet Earth and in a sense it holds us up.

Now the Earth is a source of nature as it feeds us all and all living plants put their roots into the Earth and that is what we are going to do now through our imagination,

Our mind focused energy.

So breathe in now and imagine the feet,

The toes start to take their strength and nourishment from Earth by shooting out lots of tiny roots that enter the soil,

Soft and smooth.

The roots become longer and go deeper into Earth with a sense and feeling of completely at home with nature and the deeper you go the more grounded and stronger the whole physical body attunes to.

Now the roots need to stop and anchor at the centre of pure Mother Earth so that you can truly feel truly balanced and totally anchored.

Some say a crystal is at the heart of Mother Earth too.

Now relax,

Breathe in,

You have just anchored yourself fully grounded.

We are going to have some fun now and allow yourself to imagine what it must feel like to be a flower on the scale of the smallest of small,

Nature's smallest flowers,

No higher than a blade of grass,

Beautifully coloured,

Perfect patterns and a pure,

Accurate shape of love heart petals and very,

Very delicate.

Imagine breathing the smell of this sweet perfume.

Then imagine once more what it must feel like to be one of the biggest trees in the world,

A giant tree.

Feel the strength,

That amazing height from the ground to the sky,

Almost touching the clouds.

With a trunk as solid as rock,

Branches spread wide like a huge umbrella with thousands upon thousands of fresh green leaves.

Feel a slight sway,

A gentle bend glorifying the beauty of that tree.

So breathe in your abundant earth and claim your strength,

Your power by simply saying to yourself,

I am grounded to Mother Earth,

I am grounded,

I am.

This brings us to the end of this meditation.
