Welcome to this guided meditation called Lifting My Spirits Over Christmas.

Let's begin.

Here is a treat for the adult.

So please get comfortable,

Seated or lay down if you wish.

Posing the eyes and taking deep full breaths in and releasing full breaths out.

Please continue these power breaths for a moment.

Now relax and simply imagine and enjoy this break.

For the adult,

The mother,

The wife,

The woman or indeed the man.

A break and a mind boost for the work you do.

The responsible you have an inner voice of your inner,

Inside,

Inner child.

That's telling you right now to have a jolly good break.

So let's travel,

Travel you both together and connect to Christmas.

Let your inner child prop your memory.

Breathe into your memories like opening a book.

You was once that child and it's time to sit and wait for Santa to pick up you both.

A personal visit before all the children on that special Eve and special day.

So connect to the colour red.

So bright and cheery,

Santa's red coat.

Feel that red with all your senses of the adult and your unique inner child.

And connect to whiteness.

His beard,

His furry coat.

Breathe that amazing,

Exciting white of goodness.

Listen,

Listen for the bells of reindeers approaching.

Open your ears as it gets louder and louder the bells.

A tug from your inner child and a open hand of your younger self.

Then together you step outside to be greeted by Santa and his reindeer.

The closer you get right up,

The more your feelings change.

A blast of deep inner peace as all and everything else is lifted away.

You both forget everything else,

Only knowing that now is your date with Santa and the reindeer.

Step up onto a sleigh together and let two huge arms of Santa help you both.

So very warm and so very magical.

The highest of magic tingles explodes in your heart.

A much needed ride and simply get away for a while and feast your eyes on a flying ride.

Ready and ready and candy sticks to lick with a big blanket over all your knees.

You both sit on each side of Santa and your hands entwine.

At the count of three it begins to snow.

One,

Two,

Three.

At the count of three,

The reindeer run.

One,

Two,

Three.

At the count of three,

The sleigh goes so fast it flies.

One,

Two,

Three.

The journey begins a sky ride and the most beautiful reindeer so very alive in that special bubble of magic reaching high to the clouds turning the whole world into a toy town for Christmas time.

Time changes for snow and sun will run for a while before moonlight and stars will have their turn.

Sights and feelings is all about the festive love that fills your eyes and your head.

A glance at Santa's sack where presents at the top have both your names on.

The adult you and the inner child you.

You exchange stories with Santa of your younger days.

All about your favourite time.

All about that first bicycle.

How everything seems so big,

So bright,

Noisy and fun.

The snow game,

Your favourite scarf and gloves.

Wonderful film,

The list goes on.

It's all in there and your inner child shares the excitement of it all.

Chocolate's delicious treat.

That old Christmas tree.

The decorations,

How much the home was indeed cosy,

Full of fun and laughter.

And the things you made for creativity is the very essence of Christmas on display.

Dream a little longer if you wish.

But then the sky does change,

Tonight,

Oh by so many stars up here.

A gorgeous moon and silvery cloud.

It's exciting to ride at night on Santa's sleigh and Rudolph with his shiny red nose leads the way.

Looking,

Looking for shooting stars and wishing for a great new year.

It's important to keep wishing for the good things in life.

The world is lit up at night and hot lights beam through the night.

The ride is smooth but fast.

And Santa sits beside you both,

Filling your heart so much excitement and love.

It's as if the heart was singing and then you all sing a Christmas song.

Remember your favourite Christmas,

Christmas song.

Even the reindeer,

The make a pleasant sound like an orchestra.

You fill the sleigh,

The night sky with it all.

Voices of song and cheer over the silvery clouds all of you go.

Flying by the galaxy of stars and a leap over the silvery moon.

The world looks happy for Christmas for it really does hold so much magic,

So much love.

Good times and good things to share.

The gift of giving and receiving.

Dream a little more.

And then with a high Santa takes you back home again.

To enjoy the countdown to Christmas on earth.

Landing and returning back to home.

Just enough time for a big thank you Santa hug.

A hug of warmth and Christmas love.

Enough love to last the new year.

So presents are now given to you both.

Presents of something for your inner child and yourself will truly love.

Thank you and a kiss on each side of Santa's cheek.

With thanks to the reindeer's too and your inner child strokes each one goodbye.

Rudolph,

Dasher,

Dancer,

Prancer,

Vixen,

Comet,

Cupid,

Donner and Blissen.

Then smiles and waves watching Santa's reindeer's take flight.

And home sweet home presents under that Christmas tree.

Then sitting down back into a chair.

Feeling special as an adult in touch with your inner child.

Breathing in,

Feeling super and complete.

Thank you.

See to awake to the count of seven.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Six.

Those two you both and a happy new year.

Thank you.
