My name is Kristi and this is a yoga nidra practice for rest,
Renewal and rebirth.
You can think of it as a gentle invitation to soothe your nervous system and softly open to the energy of spring and new beginnings unfolding within you.
So please begin by arriving,
Settling into a comfortable,
Supported position,
Perhaps placing a pillow under your head or beneath your knees,
Cocooning yourself in a blanket,
Gently covering the eyes,
Just taking a moment to give yourself whatever you need to feel deeply supported,
Allow the body to be held by the earth beneath you and take a slow deep inhale in through your nose and a soft exhale out through the mouth,
Again inhale and exhale,
Letting go,
Just letting yourself fully land here,
Arriving in the body,
Arriving in this moment,
Begin to notice your energy,
If it feels scattered,
Gently calling it back,
Back into your body,
Back into your heart,
Refilling your own energy first,
Like a gentle,
Loving boundary.
Now inviting in a gentle awareness of gratitude,
Not something you need to think about,
But something to feel,
A quiet whisper within,
Thank you body,
Thank you mind,
Thank you heart,
Feel the body supported,
The ground beneath you,
Steady,
Reliable,
Imagine gentle roots extending down from your body and heart,
Anchoring you into the earth,
This is your foundation,
This is your safe place to return to,
And from this grounded space,
Might you plant a quiet seed of intention,
Inviting in your sankalpa,
Like a heartfelt prayer,

You can bring that in,

Like a light placed on each internal energetic point named,
Feeling sensations arise with this light of awareness,

Begin to notice any sensations in the right hand,
The right hand thumb,
The index finger,
The middle finger,
The ring finger,
The little finger,
Might feel the sensations of energy,
This light of awareness in the palm of the right hand,
The back of the hand,
The left hand,
The right wrist,
Elbow,
The right shoulder,
The right side of the chest,
Down the right side of the waist,
Let the light of awareness float down to the right hip,
The right thigh,
The right knee,
The right ankle,
And heel,
Top of the foot,
Awareness down into the right big toe,
The second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Little toe,
Shining a gentle light of awareness,
And any sensations that arise in the whole right side of the body,
Whole right side of the body,
Lighting up with awareness of sensation of prana,
Floating that light of awareness,
Any sensations arising in the left hand,
Down in the left hand thumb,
The index finger,
The middle finger,
The ring finger,
The little finger,
Let you feel a light of awareness of energy in the palm of the left hand,
Back of the hand,
The left wrist,
Elbow,
The left shoulder,
The left side of the chest,
Down the left side of the waist,
This light of awareness travels to the left hip,
Knee,
Ankle,
And heel of the left foot,
The top and sole of the foot,
And down into the left big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Little toe,
And any sensations that arise in the whole right side of the body,
Sensations arising in the whole left side of the body,
The whole left side of the body,
Lighting up with awareness of energy,
The whole right side,
The whole left side of the body,
The left side,
Sensations arise in the right foot,
The left foot,
Light of awareness up the right leg,
The left leg,
The right hip,
The lower back,
The middle back,
The upper back,
Lighting up sensation and awareness in the right arm,
Back of the head,
Down of the head,
Like a light of awareness,
Energy moving through the crown of the head,
To the space between the eyes,
Energy in the space,
The mind's eye center,
To the right eye,
Left eye,
The right ear,
The left ear,
Feeling the sensation of energy between the ears,
And traveling in the right nostril,
The left nostril,
The upper lip,
The right side of the jaw,
The left side of the jaw,
The throat center,
The heart center,
The solar plexus center,
The navel center,
The root center,
Just beginning to feel any sensations arise with this light of awareness in the whole body together.
Feeling into the whole body together as one field of awareness,
Begin to gently bring your awareness to your breath.
Let the breath be slow and soft,
Inhaling into the belly,
A gentle expansion,
A subtle lift of the breath in the chest,
An opening,
Exhale softening,
Releasing,
Again,
Breathing into the belly,
The heart,
Feel that gentle rise within you.
As you exhale,
Feel a soft opening,
A spacious unfolding,
Let the breath move like a gentle current flowing through you,
Like the changing of seasons,
Softly opening the petals to new growth,
Nothing is ever forced in nature,
Just a natural unfolding,
Right now feel like a soft transition between seasons,
This inner landscape,
Like the first gentle signs of spring,
Nothing rushed,
Nothing forced,
Like feeling something gently beginning to awaken within,
You might also start to notice what may be ready to be released,
Just letting this new beginning be like a soft opening after a closing,
Just feeling into the sense of trust,
This sense of trust that a new beginning is already unfolding,
The more you allow yourself to release,
Beginning to attune to this felt sense of amrita,
This flow of nectar,
Imagine a soft golden nectar of energy flowing in through the crown,
A healing current moving through the mind,
The throat,
The heart,
Golden nectar of life force energy filling the chest with warmth,
Flowing into the belly,
Infusing every cell with healing life force energy,
A quiet replenishing,
Now resting here deeply into your radiance,
In the deep stillness,
Letting the quiet reveal what is ready to be seen,
Presence is where clarity lives,
Just allowing yourself to be,
Just be dissolving back into this space of pure awareness,
Bringing your awareness back to your heart,
Feel connected to something infinite,
Loving,
Infinite love is all around you and within you,
Let your sankalpa come alive within your heart,

Like a truth spoken from the heart space,
Begin to deepen your breath,
Gently returning to the rhythm of your body,
Feeling the parts of your body held by the earth,
Feeling into this spaciousness of infinite love flowing through and around you,
And just pausing here in this space of loving awareness,
For a quiet moment of reflection,
What seeds are you planting in this season of new beginnings,
What intentions are you ready to take root within you,
And what do you need to gently nurture these seeds of intention,
Perhaps it's more rest,
More trust,
More space or support,
Letting whatever arise be enough,
There's no need to rush these answers,
Just a gentle invitation to listen,
Feeling into your heart,
A soft sense of devotion to your own unfolding,
Trusting that whatever you're cultivating will grow in its own time,
You can continue to rest here,
As long as you need,
If you're ready to reawaken,
Just keep it gentle and slow,
Like soft stretches or movements,

A deep sense of presence that you are fully in a season of becoming,
Tending,
Nurturing,
And allowing,
And just like spring,
You don't have to force your blooming,
