Enjoy this deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra practice to connect with Prana life force energy moving through you, illuminating the light within you to shine that light out into the world. Includes background sound healing with ocean waves. Yoga Nidra or Yogic sleep is an ancient technique that helps you deeply relax and reset the nervous system. Listen anytime (except while driving please!!!) For this yoga nidra meditation, I recommend lying down with pillows, blankets and something to cover your eyes with so you can deeply relax! Add crystal, oils, angel cards or anything your heart desires!

Welcome.

My name is Christy and I'll be guiding you through this Yoga Nidra practice today.

Thank you for choosing to be here.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient technique that brings you to a state of consciousness where you can allow the body to be deeply,

Deeply relaxed and the mind is awake and aware and allowing your nervous system space to reset.

And in this particular Yoga Nidra practice will invite in visualization of light.

Light to invoke a sensation of cleansing and clearing,

Protection and also allowing yourself to just bask in this healing light.

So when you're ready,

Make your way to a very comfortable restorative position.

Make any adjustments you need to support this deeper state of rest and relaxation.

Make sure to support the head with pillows,

Blankets,

Cover your eyes or dim the lights and perhaps cocooning yourself in a warm blanket.

And then just begin to take some slow deep breaths as your body begins to unhook from the pressures of the social world,

Allowing any external attachments outward to be severed and allow your awareness to drop inward and to feel the rise and fall of your breath.

Exploring this inner landscape as the breath starts to move into pockets of spaciousness or maybe the breath is meeting some resistance due to tension.

Whatever you show up with today,

Whatever you're holding,

Can you welcome in this sensation of letting that go and just allowing yourself space.

Space to just be.

Can you start to explore the undercurrent of the quality of your mind,

Noticing the thought patterns that have been looping through the mind and without labels or judgment or shame,

Just witnessing these thoughts,

Patterns,

Beliefs,

Emotions.

And again,

Can you start welcome in this sensation of the breath like little rivers moving down through the crown,

Washing away any thoughts that are unproductive,

Unsupportive of your highest self.

Feeling these gentle little waves of water carrying those down and out through your feet.

Feeling the breath like little rivers of water starting at the crown,

Down through the whole body,

Washing away,

Exhaling out through the feet,

Cleansing and clearing.

Can you invite in a Samavritti breath,

Equal ratio breathing,

Inhaling for four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And exhaling for four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Slow,

Equal,

Deep breaths in and out,

Smoothing out the fluctuations that the breath creates.

Take another three or four soft,

Smooth breaths.

Sometimes it can feel like we're in conflict with ourselves.

Can you welcome in this sensation of turning towards tending and nurturing and loving every layer of yourself,

Allowing the whole body to breathe,

The whole body to let go,

And the whole body to feel held with unconditional loving awareness.

Start to bring your awareness to this inner glowing light at the heart space,

Like a gentle flame lighting up the entire center of your body,

Allowing this light to shine on your heartfelt desire,

Your sankalpa,

Your intention.

This intention being illuminated by your inner light,

So no matter what swirling waves you're moving through in your life,

When you tend to yourself so much with nurturance and love,

Your intention or sankalpa is illuminated from the inside out to practice universal law of feeling it inward first,

And then allowing that illumination to spread light into the world around you,

Inviting in your sankalpa to this illuminated place within the heart.

You can invite in your primary sankalpa or whispering to the heart space,

I bask in the light that surrounds me.

Now can you invite in an awareness of a rotation throughout the body,

Perhaps imagining gentle rays of light touching each space,

Creating this interconnectedness of light through all the energetic channels in the body,

Clearing,

Purifying,

Spreading healing light,

Beginning on the right side of the body,

The right hand,

The right thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Pinky finger,

Palm of the hand,

Back of the hand,

Middle of the wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Right side of the chest,

Waist,

Hip,

Knee,

Ankle,

Heel,

Top of the foot,

Sole of the foot,

Right big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Pinky toe.

Can you imagine rays of light from point to point on the entire right side of the body,

This beautiful light show of a circuitry of energy in the entire right side,

Noticing any feelings of pulsing energy on just the right side,

Floating this awareness to the left side of the body,

The left thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Pinky finger,

Palm of the hand,

Back of the hand,

Middle of the wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Left side of the chest,

Waist,

Hip,

Knee,

Ankle,

Heel,

Top of the foot,

Sole of the foot,

Left big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Pinky toe.

Can you imagine rays of light from point to point on the entire left side of the body,

This pulsing circuitry of energy on just the left side of the body,

The right side of the body.

Can you bring this awareness of the whole body as an interconnected field of sensation,

Of gentle rays of light touching each point.

I can feel the gentle waves of the breath,

Like a washing of light as you inhale and the exhales carry down and out and away,

Just awareness of this rise and fall of the breath,

Effortlessly breathing,

Feeling as though your body is drinking in this light,

Feeding your whole body with prana,

Life force energy.

As you breathe,

Feel the prana feeding every muscle,

Bone,

Organ,

Fascia.

Can you feel the subtle fluid flowing energy through the energetic channels woven through the body.

How can you feel the stillness,

Holding spaciousness for the movement,

Feeling all parts of the body still,

Holding the spaciousness for the subtle energy to move through the body.

Feeling the stillness,

Feeling the subtle flowing movement together as a whole field of sensation.

Can you feel this interconnectedness of both stillness and flowing energy through the body.

Now begin to visualize yourself floating,

Floating in a gentle rocking sensation of the inner waters of flowing energy.

Begin to visualize waves of healing aqua blue light ripple through and around you,

Healing blue light like gentle waves envelope your whole being with cleansing,

Protective,

Healing energy floating in this pure bliss,

Floating in this pure awareness of your true authentic self,

Surrounded and illuminated by healing aqua blue light,

Resting,

Floating in this light,

Experiencing pure bliss.

Begin to bring awareness to this illuminated space at the heart,

Illuminating your sankalpa echoed with bliss and pure awareness.

Sankalpa is really rooted to the deepest layers of your being,

Repeating the sankalpa,

Perhaps repeating,

I am basking in the light that surrounds me.

Can you start to witness yourself basking in this light,

Allowing that to bring forth sensations in the body,

Illuminated with this deep tending to each layer of yourself.

The sensations of the breath rising and falling,

Moving like waves of light,

Allowing it to flow through you.

As you start to bring awareness to the physical body,

Can you still hold that sensation of what feeling illuminated from the inside out feels like,

Tending to this inner light within you.

You can stay here as long as you need to continue resting,

Receiving all the benefits of the practice.

I hope you continue to see and celebrate your unique and beautiful light and allowing that light to shine out into the world.
