Welcome to this Reiki for Menstrual Pain practice with me,
Keziah Gibbons.
The guidance in this practice is as if you're already familiar with Reiki.
But if you're not,
Allow yourself to follow the instructions and visualizations as best you can,
And just relax into my voice.
You'll still feel the benefit,
And I will also be sending you Reiki throughout the practice.
So making yourself comfortable now,
Which might mean sitting or lying in the way that's most comfortable for you.
It might mean having a hot water bottle,
Blankets,
Cushions,
Whatever you need.
Just arranging yourself physically for maximum comfort.
And then noticing the sounds around you,
And just allowing these sounds to be.
Knowing that this is just life going on around you,
That it will most probably continue throughout this meditation,
And that it's safe to bring your attention inwards now.
Bringing your attention inwards and noticing any thoughts,
Sensations or emotions.
And whatever you find,
That's okay.
It's just life happening within you,
And you can allow that to continue,
As you set your intention to connect to Reiki.
So if you are already a Reiki person,
You can connect to Reiki in whatever way works for you.
And I'm going to invite you to connect to Reiki with your breath.
So when you next breathe in,
Imagine that you're breathing in a gentle golden healing energy from source down through the crown of your head,
Into your body.
And when you next breathe out,
Allowing your breath to carry that gentle golden healing energy throughout your body.
And continuing this flow,
So with each breath in,
That gentle golden healing energy comes down from source.
And with each breath out,
You send it throughout your entire body.
And now if you wish,
You can place your hands on your tummy,
Or wherever's most comfortable for you.
And if there's more than one place on your body that needs some care and attention,
You can visualize or imagine or simply feel more Reiki hands resting on that place,
Bringing healing with them.
Breathing Reiki in,
That gentle golden healing energy.
Breathing Reiki out,
And with that out breath,
Directing the Reiki through your hands,
Through the Reiki hands,
And into your abdomen.
And allowing the flow to become established.
Reiki in,
Reiki out.
And you may start to notice yourself beginning to relax into it.
Breathing Reiki in,
Breathing Reiki out.
Filling and surrounding yourself with that gentle healing Reiki light and energy.
Reiki flows as you breathe in,
Fills and surrounds you as you breathe out.
Holding you safely,
Giving you space to just be,
To rest and to heal.
Reiki in,
Reiki out.
And allowing the flow to continue for just a little longer.
Breathing Reiki in,
Breathing Reiki out.
Before giving thanks to the Reiki energy,
Releasing any visualization,
And allowing the flow to subside.
You may want to stay here for a few minutes as the energy settles,
And you can do so for as long as you're comfortable.
When you're ready to leave your practice space,
Just give yourself a gentle brush down with your hands,
Intending to release any excess energy.
After the practice,
You might want to drink a glass of water,
Or even take something to eat,
Just to ground yourself a little more as the energy integrates in your body.
Please rest as you need and take good care of yourself today and every day.
