Hi,
I'm Karen.
If you're feeling overwhelmed right now,
You're in the right place,
And you don't need to fix everything.
You just need this moment right now.
Can you move to a place that is maybe a bit removed from all the chaos?
And if you want,
You can be seated,
Standing,
Or even lying down.
It's just you and me.
Are you able to close your eyes?
If you don't feel that closing your eyes is available right now,
That's okay.
Just soften your gaze a bit.
And maybe turn your gaze somewhat downward.
Great.
Now,
Can you feel your breath?
You don't need to change it or fix it.
It's good just the way it is.
In fact,
It's perfect.
You see,
Your breath is telling you you're anxious right now.
It's simply saying this is how you feel right now.
Where do you feel your breath?
Can you feel it high up in your chest?
That's okay.
It's all right.
It's just you and me.
Can you stay with me for a moment?
Do you feel how cold the air is right at the tip of your nose or in your nostrils?
You might even be able to feel the cool air in the back of your throat.
Can you feel that?
Amazing,
Right?
Can I ask you something?
Can you take a slow breath in?
It doesn't have to be deep.
Just try to slow it down a bit.
There you go.
Now,
Breathing out.
Breathing in.
Nice and slow.
And maybe take even longer breathing out.
Here,
I'll help guide you.
Breathing in.
Breathing in.
In.
In.
Now,
Breathing out.
Out.
Out.
Out.
Again,
In.
In.
In.
And gently out.
Out.
Now,
Continue breathing.
Does your body feel tense right now?
And maybe your thoughts are racing too.
That's okay.
It's okay.
Nothing has gone wrong.
It's okay.
Your nervous system is trying to protect you.
It's telling you to be alert.
And you are.
And right now,
You're safe enough to slow down.
Breathing in.
In.
In.
In.
And out.
Out.
Out.
Out.
Out.
Great.
Now,
Can you feel your feet on the floor?
Can you feel your body?
Supported.
Allow your shoulders to relax a little.
And soften your jaw.
Breathing in.
And longer out.
Each exhale tells your body,
You can let go.
Just a little bit.
Just a little bit.
You don't have to solve anything right now.
And you certainly don't have to figure it all out.
Just stay here for as long as you need.
Breathing.
Softening.
And when you're ready,
Gently return.
A little calmer than before.

With so much love.
Namaste.
