Hi and welcome to an Insight Moment.

My name is Karen and I'm one of the teachers on Insight Timer.

Take a moment to find a place that's maybe a little bit removed from all the noise,

All the chaos of life,

And set yourself into a comfortable position.

Take a lovely deep breath in and exhale slowly out.

Breathe in again deeply right down into the bottom of your belly and breathe out emptying your body.

You may notice that even when we decidedly choose to remove ourselves from the chaos around us,

There's a lingering sense of chaos within and this can be frightening.

But when we have any emotion that bubbles up in us,

Rather than trying to offer stories,

We can lean right into that emotion and notice the sensations that travel with it.

Breathe in deeply and exhale completely.

Breathe in and notice what's happening in your heart.

As you exhale,

Perhaps notice if there's a story that you're repeating,

Justifying those feelings of anxiety.

Breathe in and as you exhale,

Simply be with the body.

Lean into it just a little bit and notice where it is that you feel fear.

Breathe into that space and open it up.

Let it breathe and then as you exhale,

Feel the body soften and maybe let it sink down a little bit more deeply.

Breathe in and acknowledge this moment and exhale.

Open your heart to it just as you would opening your heart with love and compassion to a child who's frightened.

Notice the weight of your body.

Notice how the earth itself supports you.

You're safe.

The earth has always supported you.

It has always risen up to catch every single footfall,

To be there when the path turn.

Breathe in deeply and exhale completely.

Let it go.

Let the earth support you.

Let it hold you.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Allow the earth to hold you,

To nurture you,

To love you.

Life does not exist in static.

It is in constant motion,

Changing and turning and twisting.

But it offers such wonderful opportunities with each breath.

Opportunities to become your best self and to live in fear is to give power away from who you are.

And you are meant to shine in this life.

You are meant to thrive and to grow in this life.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

When our life changes,

We may feel overwhelmed and at a loss.

And the past that we knew no longer exists.

But we mustn't allow ourselves to become lost in fear.

Take a deep breath in and breathe out completely.

In those moments we may feel as though we're in darkness.

But when we breathe in deeply and acknowledge that place in our heart,

It's as though we shed light,

Turn the light on to the monster that we've created.

Shining light on our fear allows us to see it with greater clarity.

Take a deep breath in,

Exhale it all out.

Fear is not born in unknowing.

Fear is created in our imagination.

Breathe in deeply and exhale completely.

By acknowledging that fear is a creation of imagination.

Based on stories of darkness and dread,

Create new stories.

Imagine new beginnings of wonder and awe.

Breathe in deeply and breathe out completely.

Step out from the darkness of your fears and create your most beautiful life.

It's all simply waiting for you.

It's time to step out into the light.

It's time to see your life from a new perspective.

It's time to take back your power and become who you really are.

Beautiful,

Exquisite,

Intelligent and worthy of this beautiful life that you create.

There's not a moment to waste,

Not on fear.

You're too amazing for that.
