Welcome to this meditation for releasing guilt and finding empowerment.
To begin find a quiet comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
Begin to relax the body,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Nice and slow and then slowly exhale.
Continue to breathe like that and allow yourself to be fully present here and now.
As you continue to breathe let the belly expand gently.
With each exhale let it gently release and as you breathe begin to imagine that your inhales are bringing in a sense of calm and each exhale is releasing any tension from the day,
Any tension in the mind.
From your position imagine roots extending down from your body into the earth,
Grounding you,
Providing stability and strength,
Feeling the earth beneath you anchoring you to the present.
And as you continue to breathe knowing that you are supported,
You are rooted down.
Begin to visualize a soft warm light surrounding you.
This light represents compassion,
Forgiveness.
As you breathe in imagine this light entering your body reminding you of this,
Filling you with a sense of peace and acceptance.
And as you exhale visualize any feelings of guilt just leaving your body,
Dissolving into the air and disappearing.
With each breath let go of unnecessary guilt knowing that it no longer serves you,
Knowing that it's time to move forward.
And as you breathe in with this light that is restoring you just begin to be open to the idea that you are worth forgiving any past mistakes,
That you can provide the same compassion for yourself that you provide to others and that you are worthy of love and forgiveness.
As you breathe here inside your own mind the mantra I choose to move forward.
I choose to move forward.
I choose to move forward.
And as you see yourself moving forward sit nice and tall.
From this relaxed space feel your strength.
Feel the light now imbuing you with confidence,
Filling your entire body with light,
Feeling your inner strength and your positive potential.
As this energy of empowerment moves through your body filling you with the ability to truly move forward once again repeat this mantra I choose to move forward.

I choose to move forward.
Now take a few moments to sit with these feelings of releasing guilt and welcoming empowerment.
Allow them to integrate into your being knowing that you have the power to let go.
You have the ability to step into your strength at any time.
Now to come back to the room begin to notice your breath again feeling the air fill your lungs expand your belly and then gently release.
Wiggle your toes and your fingers and maybe shrug your shoulders up and release.
When you're ready blink your eyes open.
