Lesson 1

Focus On The Present

The idea of being in the present moment is a powerful one when it comes to workloads and pressures. We are often scheduled to the max and we become physically and emotionally stressed out. We often find our minds cluttered and overthinking. We worry about how the past could have gone differently. Or we wonder if the future will go as exactly as we plan it. This session will teach you how to bring your focus to the present.

Lesson 2

Practice Deep Breathing

Breathing is one of the most effective ways to manage stress because it leverages your own physiology and requires no special tools. In as little as 90 seconds, deep breathing can stimulate a physiological "relaxation response" that tones down your body's "fight-or-flight" response by inhibiting stress hormone production, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing heart rate. Learn a powerful breathing practice to stay calm under pressure.

Lesson 3

Take A Break

Breaks give your mind space to relieve stress and ease the pressure. It's very important to daydream, to let your mind run free at the deepest level. Learn to tap into the source of creativity -- taking disparate ideas from different disciplines and putting them together. You can’t really do that consciously. You will benefit from solutions just bubbling up to the surface.

Lesson 4

Process How You're feeling

When you find your stress levels rising, instead of forcing yourself to cheer up or calm down, try returning to equilibrium to simply accept the way you currently feel. If you accept that that is how you feel at this moment, you take the sting out of your emotion, and out of the stress, anger, worry and unhappiness. In this session, you will learn the art of observation and the art of accepting the situation is tremendously powerful.

Lesson 5

Visualize Your End Goal

No one can define for you exactly what your path should be. You must look at the values you have chosen to live by. Where do you put your time, your strength, your creativity, your love? Does what you are choosing reflect what you most deeply value? In this session, you will learn to become still and listen deeply and you will know if you are following a path with heart.

Lesson 6

Reflect On The Positives

To make a positive change in your life, positive thinking is a good start. For any tangible results, thinking needs to be followed by positive doing. We can't be a Positive Thinker as long as we are critical. To criticize is to attack. In this session, you will learn about the silver lining principle and creative intention to deliberately look for the upside.

Lesson 7

Practice Healthy Habits

Stress is a form of pain or discomfort that comes to tell you there is something you need to change. So stress is a messenger and not a companion. Living a healthy lifestyle can help you calm your stress levels and stay focused throughout the workday. In this session, you will learn how to incorporate positive health habits into your life through creative visualization.

Lesson 8

Organize Your Priorities

Look around at the life you've created for yourself, and you'll clearly see your true priorities. If you wish to adjust those priorities, you can reliably do so by adjusting the actions that support them. By the way you choose to give your time, attention and effort, you are setting your priorities, and those priorities will greatly influence the way your life proceeds. In this session, you will be guided to set your priorities as high as you can imagine.

Lesson 9

Limit What You Do

Not everything is important. Life is not a set of almost equal activities. This is where we are being conned. The con of ā€œbusy-nessā€. There’s just enough time to complete the essential purposes in our life. You can’t always control what goes on outside. But you most definitely control what you do. In this session, we will deliberate on what your purpose is and what you are here to do.

Lesson 10

Retrain Your Brain For A Calmer Life

Do you ever find yourself stuck in a negative thought loop? Do stressful work, relationships, or life experiences sometimes play on repeat in your head? ā€It’s not your fault. Human brains are wired to pay more attention to the negative. It’s possible to rewire your brain and develop the inner strength you need to overcome any negative thought, feeling, or life experience and grow from it — instead of getting stuck. Learn to rewire your brain for a calmer life in this session.

Talk about the right course at the right time! Thank you so much for this wonderful course Jay, it’s beautifully presented with just the right amount of input for each day.. I am about to move house and…well, everyone is saying how stressful this is. But just yesterday a friend commented ā€œ You always seem so calm about it.ā€ Result! But the valuable input lessons will stay with me far far longer than that.
