Good morning.
As the day begins,
Before you set off into doing,
Let's start by creating a powerful state of being,
Which will become the foundation of your beautiful day.
No matter what yesterday was like,
Remember that birds always start the new day with a song.
Now with your eyes open or closed,
You're either lying in bed or sitting up.
Start by taking in some deep,
Comfortable breaths.
Breathe into your belly,
Not into your chest.
Just like when you see a baby sleeping peacefully,
You will notice the rise and collapse of the abdomen.
Now see if you can make your exhale slightly longer than your inhale.
Start breathing in for a count of four and breathing out for a count of seven.
Breathe in through your nostrils and exhale from your mouth.
Now become aware of the point of inflection.
The wind goes up through your nostrils and turns around and goes down your windpipe.
This inflection point right behind the bridge of the nose where it meets the forehead.
Become aware of this place as the seat of consciousness,
Where your thoughts,
Memories and creativity arise from.
Imagine the seat of consciousness as light,
A tiny point of luminous energy.
Now consciously spread this light throughout the body,
Starting up towards the brain,
Filling and surrounding the brain.
Then towards your eyeballs from behind and around.
Through your nose,
Cheeks,
Lips,
Teeth,
Tongue,
The ears,
The back of the head.
And down through the throat passage,
Let this light fill and surround your heart,
Your lungs,
Your kidneys,
Your stomach,
Liver,
Through the intestines down into the abdomen,
All the way down to the hip region.
And then send this light down just the right leg,
From the hips through the thighs,
To the knee,
To the shins,
Down to the ankle,
Through the feet,
To the toes.
Similarly down the left leg from the hip,
Send this light down through the thigh,
To the knee,
Through the shin,
All the way to the ankle,
The foot and toes.
Now from the shoulders let the light go down just the right arm,
Through the upper arm,
To the elbow,
To the forearm,
Wrist and fingers.
Likewise from the left shoulder through the left arm,
To the elbow,
Through the forearm,
Wrist and fingers.
At this point your entire body space is filled with light.
Now imagine this light emerges through your skin and radiates out creating an aura around your body extending about six inches in all directions,
Front,
Back,
Sides,
Above and below.
This light that surrounds your body protects your body from any external harm and the light inside your body heals it of any ailments.
Now spread this light consciously with generosity in your heart into your environment.
Send it to people and places that you may engage with today.
Starting with your home,
School if that's applicable,
Co-workers and even those people who you meet like the man who makes your coffee or the lady who drives your taxi or plane.
See this light spread like a fragrance and this light touches everyone and everything in your world.
As you consciously spread this light you are creating the day you are about to walk into.
Now set an intention for today.
How would you like the day to be?
It could be something like I will be positive,
I will remain cheerful,
I will be grateful.
No matter what anyone else says or does I have the freedom to choose how I will be.
Now you are all set,
Get up,
Get out and have a fabulous day.
