Let's begin.
Please get comfortable in a chair or lay down if you wish.
Wrap yourself in comfort.
Please take a deep full breath in and hold that breath for 4 seconds.
Release,
Release slowly,
Slowly.
Empty your breath.
Closing your eyes.
In fact squeeze the eyes shut.
And relax the face into relaxation.
Now be very aware of your entire head.
The head,
This thing that navigates one through life.
And breathe in change.
Exhale change.
Breathing in changing anxiety.
And exhale changing anxiety.
Start to feel the need to change.
And in a sense rearrange the furniture inside your very head.
To dust down and chug away the worn out beliefs of oneself.
That's right.
See the very head needing a positive uplifting change.
And rearrange the furniture you call home inside your very head.
See yourself dusting down and chugging away old,
Very old beliefs of oneself.
This time to link to playfulness,
To lightness and redecorate your inside.
The mind,
The head.
With new furnishings.
Just accept the best.
A comforting self support.
And how to do this with anxiety too.
Many things we simply do on autopilot.
We simply do this.
Certain things inside,
Almost like a computer,
Churn out old programmes.
Old programmes that no longer serve you fully anymore.
For life is often about change,
Improvement.
See and imagine now the neural pathways that anxiety run up and down.
That run up and down those neural pathways that your subconscious mind put so very much in place.
It was once your protection from life's infections.
Feel it is time,
It is time to blast and clear it out.
With an aluminous light and rid the shadows.
Keep the pathway,
Keep the neural pathway,
But rid it's owed messages.
Empty out the owed anxiety.
Causing nothing,
Nothing but bother.
And give yourself permission.
And fill,
Fill it with assertiveness.
Fill it with human hope.
Fill it up with goodness.
Feel you are changing,
Updating and filling the neural pathway with new assertiveness.
A direction full of lightness,
Creativity and change.
See those automatic pilot pathways changing for the better.
And feed the brain,
The head,
