Lezione 1
The Wheel As A Whole
This lesson provides a brief overview of the Wheel of the Year, laying the foundation for us to explore it as two halves for this course. With a slow and steady turn that is without end, the Wheel demystifies the seasonal changes we experience while offering us many different approaches to living in harmony with nature.
Lezione 2
The Light Half
We start our gardens and make plans for summer, many of us scheduling vacation time. Then, before we know it, summer begins to slowly fade and it’s back to school for many. On the front end of things, we just came out of winter. As this half of the year comes to a close, we find ourselves preparing for winter again. Welcome to the light half of the year.
Lezione 3
The Dark Half
School has started again. Ads for holiday sales start to appear before the weather even gets cold. We’re able to open our windows and let in some fresh air as the warming smells of baking pies and stews fill our homes again after a six-month hiatus. We look forward to shopping for pumpkins and trees to decorate in the coming months. With these things, the dark half of the year begins.
Lezione 4
Back To The Whole
Just about everyone has a preferred half of the year. For some, this preference is permanent. Others will “switch sides” at some point. Regardless, all of us can find magick in both halves, each Sabbat, and every season as the Wheel of the Year turns.
