So take a moment just to get really comfortable with your back supported,
Feet on the ground,
Arms resting by your side or resting in your lap or sit in whatever meditation posture you enjoy or lie down.
You know there's no there's no rules here.
If you want to lie down,
Lie down,
Get a blanket,
Make yourself warm enough,
Comfortable enough and just relax your shoulders and your jaw.
It's often where we hold a lot of our daily tension.
And become aware of the movement of your breath as it comes into your body and as it leaves your body.
Not manipulating the breath in any way or trying to change it,
Simply being aware of it and of the feelings associated with breathing.
Notice wherever it is you notice your breath.
It may be you sense the air on your nostrils.
Cool as you breathe in.
Warm as you breathe out.
You may feel it deep down in your belly.
Feeling the abdomen as it expands gently on the in-breath and as it falls back towards your spine on the out-breath.
Or you may feel the expansion of your chest as your breath rises and falls.
Wherever you feel it is okay.
Just be totally here in each moment with each breath.
Wherever you feel it is okay.
Just be totally here in each moment with each breath.
And give full care and attention to each in-breath and to each out-breath.
As they flow one after the other.
Feel your body sitting here or lying here.
And be present with the sensation in your body.
With your breath.
Just as it is.
And as you rest here now,
Send a gentle inquiry inward.
What words or images arise that might inform an affirmation for you?
What does your heart feel?
What does your heart desire?
How do you wish to feel?
What action would you like to put in place?
What action would you like to put in place?
What feels like it's asking for your attention?
And if nothing arises,
That's okay.
There's no need to push at this.
Simply allow,
Soften in.
And ask your subconscious just to show you some words,
Show you some images.
Whatever might be useful here.
And again,
If nothing arises,
That's okay.
And there's no right or wrong here.
Simply allow whatever does or doesn't arise for you.
Everything is allowed.
There's space for the whole of you.
