And welcome to this 10-minute morning gratitude meditation.
So as you begin your day,
Find a comfortable seated position whether you're sitting on a chair,
Cushion,
Or still lying in bed.
And allowing your back to be straight and your body relaxed.
Gently closing down the eyes and bringing your intention inward.
And take a deep slow breath in through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Noticing the rise and the fall of your chest and the sensation of air flowing in and out.
And taking another slow deep breath in through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Allow your breath to become a gentle rhythm.
Steady,
Calm,
And nurturing.
With each inhale,
Imagine breathing in fresh energy.
With each exhale,
Releasing any tension or lingering stress.
Allowing yourself fully arriving in this moment,
In this present moment.
Now bring your awareness to your heart.
Imagine a warm glowing light there.
This light represents the love and gratitude that resides within you.
And as you continue breathing slowly,
Silently repeating to yourself,
I am grateful.
I am grateful for this new day,
For this moment,
And for my breath.
I am grateful.
I am grateful for this new day,
For this moment,
And for my breath.
And allowing these words to settle deeply into your being.
Notice how your heart softens and opens a little with more each Repetition.
And even if you'd like to place your hand on your heart while you're going through this meditation this morning,
Begin to reflect on the gifts in your life.
Think of one thing you are grateful for right now.
It might be as simple as the comfort of your bed,
The warmth of a morning sun,
Or the presence of loved ones.
And holding this thought in your heart and visualizing it as a small radiant seed of gratitude.
Now gently expand your awareness to include more blessings.
Be grateful for your body,
For its strength and resilience.
Be grateful for the opportunities that await you today.
Be grateful for even the small unnoticed moments of beauty,
A kind smile,
A supportive friend,
A peaceful moment of silence.
Let each thought fill you with a sense of warmth and appreciation.
And as you bask in gratitude,
Acknowledge that sometimes we hold on to things,
Old worries,
Fears,
Or habits that no longer serve us.
Visualize these burdens as dark clouds hovering around your heart.
With each exhale imagine these clouds slowly dissolving and drifting away.
Feel your heart lighting,
Creating space for new energy,
New blessings,
And new opportunities.
And you remind yourself,
I let go of what no longer serves me.
I welcome all that nurtures my growth.
Now taking one final deep breath in,
Feeling the full presence of gratitude and release.
Exhale slowly and gently bring your attention back into the room.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes,
Carrying this sense of gratitude and light with you into your day.
And knowing that you have sealed your intention for a day of abundance,
Clarity,
And joy.
And if you wish,

So take these moments with you as you step into your day,
Knowing that each breath and each moment of gratitude sets a positive tone for what's to come.
