Planting yourself firmly on the ground or on your seat,
Rising gracefully and with intentional presence,
Noticing your body,
Noticing your breathing and making any adjustments necessary for more comfort and clarity.
And as you come into your breathing,
Allow yourself to open up an energetic channel from the crown of your head to that spot just below and behind your navel.
Breathing in,
Inviting life energy to flow down in through your crown and all the way down to your abdomen.
So you might envisage a bright,
Clear light cascading in at your crown and traveling down to that energy center in your belly.
Or you might feel the energy traveling in and downwards with your breath.
Or you might just know and intend that that energy come in now.
Breathing in,
Pulling that energy in.
Breathing out,
Allowing it to build in your abdomen and to fill your whole body.
And again,
You might imagine that light,
Whatever color it is,
Spreading throughout your body as you breathe out.
You might feel the energy moving or you might just know and intend that it is so.
As you set up this energetic flow,
Open yourself to the words of the precepts.
Just for today.
Bring these words in with the energy and allow them to sit in the center of your being.
Expanding with each breath out and allow them to be a part of you.
Allow their energy to mix with yours to create new possibilities within you.
Do not anger.
Again,
Inviting the words in as you breathe in the energy and allowing them to take up residence deep within you.
Breathing out,
Expanding your energy,
Allowing new possibilities as the precept merges with you.
Do not worry.
Breathing in the meaning of these words.
Feeling them establish themselves in your energetic center.
Even as you breathe the energy in,
Let it build,
Breathe it out and expand.
Resonating the words throughout your entire body.
Be grateful.
Bringing that gratitude energy in as you breathe in.
Allowing it to build in your center and then breathing it out.
Spreading gratitude throughout your body.
Sending that gratitude energy into every cell.
Allowing it to merge with and imbue those cells.
Be honest.
Inhaling,
Pulling that life energy in.
Opening yourself to the precept.
Allowing it to settle within you.
Exhaling.
Sending the energy throughout your body.
Throughout your energy field.
Welcome the precept in every part of you.
Be compassionate.
Breathing in compassion.
Allowing the energy of compassion to travel in through your crown and all the way down to that energetic center in your abdomen.
To build and expand as you breathe out.
And fill your body with compassion.
And then allowing that flow of energy to continue for just a few more moments.
Perhaps watching as the energy comes in through your crown.
Builds in your abdomen.
And expands to fill your whole body.
Perhaps just feeling it.
Or knowing that it is so.
And then release the energy.
Release any visualization.
Knowing that you can always get it back when you need it.
Knowing that you are open to the precepts creating positive outcomes in your life.
