Surrender Meditation This meditation is based upon the teachings of Dr.
Jodi Spencer and other practices of meditation.
Through the practice of this meditation,
You can learn to let go and surrender more.
So let's begin our experiment into meditation.
Find a comfortable place where you can either sit or lay down.
Once you've found that comfortable place,
Gently close your eyes.
And as you close your eyes,
Relax.
Begin by gently relaxing your breath,
Slowing it down.
Experiencing your breath in the emptiness of space.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Letting each breath take you deeper and deeper and deeper.
Now begin to relax your body.
Relaxing the muscles of your body.
One by one.
Feeling the body become more and more relaxed.
Surrendering to any distractions in the form of sounds,
In the form of sensory stimuli.
Surrendering to a deep feeling of relaxation.
Feeling the muscles of your body soften more and more.
Feeling the muscles of your body soften more and more.
And more.
And surrendering into the softening of your muscles,
Of your joints,
Of your organs,
Your bones.
Surrendering into the space of your body.
And surrendering into the empty black space all around your body.
Surrendering into the expansion of your awareness in space.
Continuously surrendering more and more and more.
Surrendering to your thoughts.
Surrendering to the idea of who you've been in the past.
Surrendering to your self-image.
Surrendering to the inflow and the outflow of your breath that is becoming deeper and deeper.
Surrendering to your mind and your emotions.
Continuously surrendering to anything that manifests,
That arises in your consciousness.
Experiencing this surrendering as a movement inward.
As if you are sinking into your skin.
Moving in deeper and deeper.
Moving from your skin down into the layers of your body,
Into your center,
Into your core.
Until you find yourself at the very center of your heart.
In the space behind your heart,
A seat of your soul.
Surrendering to your soul.
Surrendering to its wisdom,
To its light,
To its unconditional love.
Sinking in,
Surrendering more.
Noticing how anything,
Any noise,
Any thought,
Any emotion,
Any movement of energy,
Takes you even deeper into the core of your being,
Into this experiment into surrendering.
Surrendering to your worries,
To your stress.
Trusting,
Having faith that when you surrender,
Everything always works out.
Surrendering to your faith.
Surrendering to yourself.
Surrendering to love.
Surrendering to God.
Surrendering to the infinite intelligence that animates all things.
And in this deep profound surrender,
Becoming nobody,
No one,
No thing,
Nowhere,
No time.
Continuously surrendering to whatever arises in your mind.
Sinking deeper and deeper into your core,
Into your soul,
Into a complete state of surrender.
Experiencing your entire body surrendering in space.
Suspended in space.
Whatever you experience,
However,
It's a feeling of falling into space,
Floating into space.
Just experience it.
Surrender to the experience of surrendering.
Experiencing the infinite space within you and all around you as you surrender more and more.
Surrendering to the divine intelligence from which all things are created.
Surrendering in this way so that you can access this creative energy and recreate yourself completely new.
Surrendering to any pain that arises,
Physical,
Mental,
Emotional.
Simply surrendering more and more.
And asking yourself,
How much more surrendered can I become?
And what does that feel like to surrender completely?
And as you experiment,
As you explore surrendering,
Slowly begin to come back.
Coming back completely new in a state of deep surrender.
Coming back to the space that you're in.
Surrendering to the space that you're in.
Surrendering to yourself.
Surrendering to the divine in your life.
And in this state of surrender,
When you are ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Surrendering to the divine in your life.
