For over ten years, Katie Schuessler has taught meditation, art, and yoga to people of all ages. She holds a Master in Teaching with an emphasis in Visual Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Katie earned her 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher certifications in Boulder, Colorado and New York City. She has also completed intensive studies of yoga and meditation in Mysore and Chennai, India. Katie believes that meditation and creativity offer us the tools to embrace ourselves and others with curiosity, friendliness, compassion, kindness, and love. As a person who believes in social justice, Katie’s offerings seek to support individuals in making heart-based decisions in service of community and healing.
