Transcript

Let's begin by getting ourselves grounded and really getting ourselves ready for a little journey that we're gonna take here.

So allow your hands to rest on your thighs whether you're on a cushion or sitting on a chair.

Or maybe they rest wherever they feel most comfortable.

Allow the waist to lift up and out of the hips.

Allow the lower jaw to relax and the upper jaw.

The ears begin to move back in space.

And let's find the connection.

The connection of our hands resting gently on your thighs.

The connection of your tailbone rooting on your chair or your cushion.

And the connection of your third eye,

The space in between the eyebrows to a vast and greater area of knowledge and wisdom.

And if you haven't already,

Close down the eyes,

Allow the eyeballs to melt back in the sockets.

And find the connection of your breath.

The connection of the inhale moving in through the nose,

Down and through the body.

And the exhale releasing the warm air back out into your room.

And a rhythm bringing in a little bit more expansiveness with each inhale.

And bringing a little deeper grounding and rooting with each exhale.

Begin to use each breath as an intention to begin already to clear the body.

Clearing it of its emotional burdens that sometimes it can bring onto us.

Clearing it of any physical tension that we still might feel just from day to day living or maybe something a little more serious.

So if there is a part of your body that needs a little more tension or maybe it's just the internal body as a whole.

Using the next few breaths to bring that awareness,

Bring that clearing into your body.

And then,

Whatever the things that we want most in life.

Or,

Depending how you look at it,

What life wants most of us.

The things that make us become more.

Living our life's purpose or manifesting and bringing into our lives something that we truly desire,

That we feel is aligned,

That fills our spirit,

That makes us come alive.

All of that.

A lot of the times we think we have to conquer a lot outside of ourselves.

You have to do a lot in order for these things to happen.

What this practice of meditation really helps us to learn is that the only thing that we have to conquer,

The only mountains that we have to climb are the ones that we have made up in our mind.

They are the belief systems and the perceptions of our day-to-day circumstance that simply are not serving us.

And that definitely are not true.

So,

As we move along through the rest of this meditation,

We are going to uncover and release some of those thought patterns that we have.

Those mountains that we must climb,

Not outside,

But inside.

To begin this journey,

I'm going to have you do a little visualization.

So we are going to move away from wherever you find yourself in.

Maybe you're in a room in your home.

Maybe you're outside.

Wherever you are,

Sitting just as you are.

You don't have to change anything.

With each breath,

Allow your body to begin to float up towards your ceiling,

So as if you just,

Gravity didn't take hold of you.

You just allow your body to float up towards your ceiling,

Through the ceiling,

Up into the sky.

And allow yourself to settle as if you are a little meditating person floating through the sky.

And begin to notice what sky do you see.

Is there a lot of clouds?

You notice if clouds are puffy or a little lighter.

And where is the sun?

Or maybe to you it's a night sky.

Whatever you are imagining is completely perfect.

There's no right way to do this.

Simply just float in the sky and continue to follow your breath,

Especially if you begin to get lost in your mind as it always happens.

Let's come back to your breath.

Just take another moment to enjoy whatever scene greets you.

As you continue breathing,

I'm going to have you think of those things within you that maybe are holding you back.

And actually go a little deeper,

Go a little deeper within.

And think about some situations that have been coming on in your life.

Maybe some patterns that you have found.

People that you always tend to meet that elicit a certain emotion from you.

Maybe you get nervous a lot when speaking in front of people.

Or you think that people are always judging you.

And as you go through life,

All of these emotional stirs kind of start to create a story in your head about who you are.

Maybe it's coworkers or people in your life that tell you things about yourself.

Maybe you are afraid to tell them what you're up to.

You're afraid to talk to them about your dreams because they tell you that you're not good enough for that.

You couldn't do that.

And I'd like you to use these situations.

And if you're having a tough time finding any sort of patterns or situations in your life,

It's totally normal.

Instead,

Just think of the words that you sometimes use with yourself that are holding you back.

Think if you've used,

I'm not good enough to do whatever that is.

Or I'm too old to start doing that.

I'm too young.

I don't have the certification.

I don't have the permission.

I don't know anyone.

No one's going to like me.

Think of some of these things that either consciously or maybe they're bringing it up from subconsciously that you think might apply to ways that you've viewed yourself.

And as you think of each limiting belief about yourself,

I'd like you to imagine that that belief moves away from your body and moves into a little dark cloud formation right in front of you.

So each belief is like this little dark cloud that you are uncovering within you and putting out in front of you.

And allow each one to begin to accumulate into a bigger cloud.

And they may not even be things that you truly believe about yourself,

You know better.

But by releasing any thought of I'm not good enough,

By releasing any perception that you don't have what it takes,

Releasing any negative viewpoint that you have on yourself that you might have.

We still work on doing this cleansing of the body.

So we can be more free in our day to day.

So continue to find more breath uncovering any last thoughts,

Limiting beliefs or just ways that you get in your own way.

That's all it is,

Is we're working to get out of our own way.

To do that we uncover and we release all of these beliefs.

So notice how big your cloud is in front of you.

We're still floating in the sky.

When you feel like you've gotten everything out,

Come back to your body.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Continue to breathe in some energy down right at the area below your heart,

Right below,

Right at your solar plexus.

Manipura Chakra.

This is your area of self esteem,

Of self belief,

Of self confidence.

I'm just going to breathe in just a little bit more.

Maybe you can even imagine this beautiful white,

Excuse me,

This beautiful yellow light beginning to form right in the center of your body.

We're going to begin to repeat some affirming words.

Because our true nature,

The larger self,

Is much greater than our smaller self.

And that is who we connect to when we affirm who we actually are.

I am enough.

I am capable.

I am worthy of all that life has in store for me.

I am enough.

I am capable.

And I am worthy of all that life has in store.

I'm going to begin to repeat a few of these mantras,

Maybe silently in your head.

And with this energy and this power that we've created,

I'd like you to imagine yourself floating forward towards your cloud,

Towards your dark cloud.

And as you move through,

I'd like you to see the cloud just dissipate.

Because in the energy of truth,

Which you are affirming,

Falsehood has no bounds.

It has no means to be there.

So allow as you move through this cloud for all of it to just fall towards the earth,

All the negativity to release,

Rain begins to pour down,

And you move right through all of those fears,

Right through all of those limiting beliefs about yourself.

And allow the sky to open up.

You find the freedom of the sun illuminating your face.

And once you've released that,

Slowly begin to make your way back down from the sky,

Coming back into your room,

Back into your chair or your cushion.

And I'd like you to take another moment just to come back.

And just like us to bring to mind some sort of positive visualization for the future of a desire or a wish or a dream that you have,

That releasing these negative beliefs about yourself may help you bring forth.

And just use that energy to paint the picture in your mind of what that looks like.

Where are you?

What does it feel like?

What does it feel like to finally to bring about,

To realize this dream?

And release that thought.

And just find a few more moments of complete relaxation,

Complete appreciation for the work and the journey that you just took.

Take another breath and relax.

And to slowly come back to the feeling of your hands and your thighs,

Feeling your sit bones on your chair.

And whenever you feel complete with this meditation,

You can gently open your eyes and come back to the room.

May you go out and know the truth,

The greatness of who you really are.

Because it's that that will bring forth everything that you desire.

It's been a pleasure guiding you.

I begin the manipura part of my 500 hour training tomorrow and old injuries hit. I felt defeated. I randomly saw this and didn’t remember I heard it before. It changed everything and not just for my third chakra segment but for my future. I’m unstuck. Wow.

Feeling stuck lately, as if all the work I've done has fallen to the wayside and old negative thinking defaults have reset. Maybe I'm just tired.
