This lesson is intended to support you in discerning what material supplies you will need in order to prepare for baby's arrival. This list is created with simplicity and support in mind and will help you to navigate the vast array of mother and baby products available to you. Preparing what you will need to physically care for yourself and your baby ahead of time will help you to feel at ease, knowing that you can focus on resting and caring for your little one.

How Do I Prepare For The First 40 Days?
In this lesson you will gain insights into some of the physiological phenomena of the early postpartum days. You will learn what you may experience in the immediate period after giving birth and how you can support your own healing during this time as well as facilitate bonding with your newborn baby. I share my own experience of how taking time to slow down after birth helped me to feel centered in motherhood and to begin fostering a secure attachment with my baby.

How Can Herbal Allies Support Me?
There are a number of herbal allies that can be of benefit while you are undergoing the huge shifts taking place in your body after giving birth and during lactation. This lesson gives you some ideas for herbs that may assist you in restoring balance, keeping energy levels up, and supporting lactation.

What Can I Do To Replenish Myself After Giving Birth To My Baby?
It's critical to replenish and restore the body after the intensive process of pregnancy and childbirth. This lesson gives an introduction to foods and practices that can help to support the nourishment of your mind and body with love and compassion in the postpartum period.

How Can I Support My Mental And Emotional Health?
In this lesson, you will have the opportunity to consider how to support your own mental and emotional health, your relational health, and your connection with other mamas and community. I outline some strategies that I found to be beneficial in staying grounded, staying connected, and getting through stressful times during the postpartum period.
