This meditation is for when you're feeling stuck in your life and we all experience times where we don't quite feel the momentum or the flow that we have felt at other times or that maybe we know is possible and have grasped but in this moment it just seems out of your reach.
So to begin go ahead and take a seated posture feeling your sits bones connect with the ground below you and noticing where your body connects with the ground.
Placing your palms gently in a romance.
Facing up and go ahead and check in with your jaw.
See if you can breathe some light and awareness there or at least any tension you might be feeling.
And take a deep breath in.
Letting it off.
Two more breaths just like that.
Breathing in.
Last one.
Breathing in.
One more sip at the top.
And now we're emptying the lungs completely.
Feeling yourself become more present within your body.
And gently close your eyes and imagine yourself walking on soft white sand.
Feeling the sand melt away underneath your toes.
Shifting in on itself with every step that you take.
And savoring the sunshine and earthy feeling that you feel move into your body as your feet connect with the warm soft sand.
And looking out in front of you,
You see a beautiful cerulean blue sea that stretches far to the right and to the left you see ancient mountain peaks that have been there since prehistoric times.
Breathing in and breathing out.
You continue walking,
Approaching the water and noticing a few soft pink seashells.
As you make your way to the shore,
You pause and pick one of these up,
Feeling the ridges of it between your thumb and forefinger,
Squeezing it gently before placing it back onto the sand.
And as you approach the shore,
You feel the gentle waves lapping at your feet.
Noticing with pleasant surprise and pleasure that the water is very warm,
Like a lukewarm bath.
Almost the same temperature as your body,
So that there's no shock to your system feeling it lap against you.
It feels easeful,
Like a part of yourself.
Now venture 2,
3,
4,
5 more steps into the water,
Feeling the sand break down below your toes.
You wade in up to your waist,
Feeling the sun on your skin.
Noticing how it's rays penetrate your body,
Energizing you.
Every single infinitesimal cell of your skin drinking the energy of the sunlight.
You push off from the seafloor,
Allowing yourself to swim slowly out of it,
Feeling the wind against your body,
Over onto your back.
Spread out into a T,
Allowing yourself to float,
And let the wave gently drift to where they wish to take you.
You feel the sunlight on your belly and your face,
The droplets of water on your eyelashes,
And you feel the minerals of the sea penetrating your skin,
Energizing you,
And restoring your vitality.
As you float here,
You feel a sense of calm and clarity,
Feeling deeply connected to your authentic self.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
And as you float here,
You ask yourself what needs to shift in your life in order for you to feel the sense of calm that you are experiencing now.
More often,
You consider your life carefully,
And maybe the answer comes quickly like a flash,
Or maybe you need to think on it for a while.
But in this space,
You are able to tap into your truth.
What is true for you.
What is true for you.
And you feel secure,
Living from this place of authenticity and from your own truth,
Believing that you will be safe and protected and held as you make the shifts that you need.
Take all the time you need here.
If you'd like to stay floating for a bit longer,
You can feel free to pause the meditation and take all the time that you need soaking in the sunlight and the seawater.
But if you're ready,
You can go ahead and slowly blink your eyes open,
Turning your palms towards your knees,
Allowing yourself to reacclimate to your surroundings,
And taking a final breath in.
