Hello everyone and welcome back to the Auric Expressions podcast.
This is episode 2.
I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to name this episode.
I really had no plans in creating this episode today.
I was actually just hopping into bed,
Getting ready to take a nap.
I've just been super low energy and I just for some reason felt called to plug in my mic and start recording.
I also wanted to apologize if you hear any background noises.
My cats are in the room.
I have a cat named Kiwi and my roommate has a cat named Mao.
The cats are in the room right now.
So if you hear any weird noises,
That's what that is.
So I've just been really low energy today and I felt called to hop on here and start recording.
So yeah,
Welcome back to the Auric Expressions podcast.
My name is Molly for those of you who don't know me.
Just to set the scene for you guys,
I'm currently,
As always,
Sitting on the floor of my bedroom with my headphones,
My mic plugged in,
My laptop,
Literally sitting on the carpet because I find that the carpet has better audio than my desk in terms of white noise and static.
I know there still is white noise and static,
But it's a little bit better than the desk,
I'd like to think.
I'm still kind of figuring out my podcast setup.
So this is what we have for now and it's working.
Yeah,
I wanted to talk about energy cycles today.
Cycles of energy,
Ebb and flow,
Lessons,
Breaking the cycle.
I just kind of wanted to talk about everything today.
So I really wanted to start by discussing my own personal experience with this,
Specifically feeling low energy today.
For the past year,
Now I graduated from college about a year ago,
A little bit over a year ago,
And for the past year I've been working on my business,
Doing energy healing professionally.
And starting a business means I had to engage in a lot of creative projects to attempt marketing my services and everything like that.
So yeah,
And I just realized that starting a business is not for me.
I really don't like just kind of being left to my own devices to create content and market.
It just really wasn't for me.
And I began realizing that over time and I'm really just coming back into a vibration of following my heart and following what's in alignment to me.
And that kind of brings me to talking about cycles and seasons.
The lessons that we are meant to learn are going to come back time and time again until we can finally learn the lesson.
I kept trying and trying to make this business work,
And I kind of wrote off all of the struggles I was facing as this is just a test from the universe to see if I'm going to hold my faith and stay strong in this manifestation.
But in actuality,
It was a test from the universe to prove to me that this wasn't actually what I wanted.
I was pursuing something I didn't actually want.
And I had to learn that lesson.
And it took me over a year to learn that lesson.
And I'm so grateful that I have learned that lesson.
And one of the biggest things that I've learned from this experience is that whenever you feel lost in life,
Always turn to nature.
Look at the cycles and seasons.
Look at the ebb and flow of all energy.
Whenever you feel lost in life,
Turn to nature.
If you are working on a project right now and you know it's in alignment with who you are,
This is going to be different from my experience.
My experience with wanting something that was actually my ego's desire,
Not my soul's desire.
And I actually just recorded an episode about that yesterday.
So that should be going up.
It'll already be up by the time that this episode is up.
So be sure to listen to that episode.
It's called Transformation.
Follow Your Joy.
I would highly recommend listening to that episode.
I talk a lot about your ego's desires versus your soul's desires.
But if you know that something is in alignment with your soul,
It is soul aligned,
It is in alignment with your most authentic self,
Watch nature as you pursue this goal.
Watch nature and notice from the time it takes when you plant the seed.
How long does it take before you even notice a sprout?
Maybe four weeks,
Six weeks before even noticing a sprout.
Now how long does it take to notice substantial size,
Substantial growth?
How long does it take to notice before the seed,
The plant starts to bloom,
To blossom,
To bear flowers,
To bear fruit?
Follow nature whenever you feel lost in life.
I kind of wanted to go back to talking about the cycles.
You will keep encountering the same cycles over and over and over again until you can learn the lesson.
That is how you break the cycle is you finally learn the lesson.
In my experience,
I have always been a creative person.
But anytime I've tried to turn my creativity into a career,
It leads to burnout and stress and overall I'm just completely not productive whenever I turn my creativity into a career.
And that's kind of what I'm learning right now is that I have all of these creative projects that I want to start like this podcast.
I still want to create meditations.
I feel called to write.
But just the idea of turning these things into a career just really ruin it for me.
And that's something that I'm learning is that my creativity does not need to be commodified.
My creativity does not need to be turned into a side hustle.
That brings me to talking about capitalism and spirituality.
Your spirituality,
Your gift,
Your purpose is not your goal.
Your career.
I feel like there's so much pressure these days to.
.
.
If you're a spiritual person and if you believe that your spirituality is your purpose,
Then it has to be your career.
Your purpose has to be your career.
And that is just so not true.
The universe doesn't care what you do for work.
Whether you're an accountant or you are a reiki practitioner,
The universe does not care as long as it's in alignment with who you are and what your soul needs at this time.
Do not listen to spiritual capitalism.
Another one of the biggest lessons that I've learned over the past.
.
.
Really the past year since I've been out of college is really what I talked about in my last podcast episode too.
So I would highly recommend listening to that episode,
Follow Your Joy.
But that lesson is truly following your joy and putting less pressure on yourself to find your dream job.
Putting less pressure on yourself to find your life's purpose because your purpose is not your job.
My entire life I have struggled with having a dream job.
Whenever I was a kid,
I wanted to be a writer and a yoga teacher.
As I grew up though and I started going to college,
I realized,
Oh I have to use my degree.
What is my dream job?
Whenever really there was no dream job.
I just wanted to exist.
I just wanted to experience life and realizing that that is your purpose.
Your purpose is to simply be here now.
Your purpose is to simply exist and experience life to the fullest.
And you experience life to the fullest by following your joy.
That is single-handedly the biggest lesson I have learned is releasing the need to have a dream job.
Releasing the need to have some big purpose that's going to change the world.
Turning inward,
Looking at the inner child is life-changing wisdom.
The inner child didn't care about self-sacrifice or being a martyr.
It didn't care about societal pressures or what other people expected of you.
The inner child was purely authentic.
Whenever you're confused and you're lost in life,
Turn to nature and turn to the inner child.
What interests you as a child?
The inner child followed their joy.
Come back to that energy now and follow your joy.
There is no need for you to commodify your spiritual gifts.
For example,
I am an energy healer and energy reader.
For the past year,
I attempted to start a business doing energy healing and energy readings professionally and I hated it.
I did not enjoy it whatsoever because I was not meant to commodify my spiritual gifts and I wasn't meant to be a martyr or self-sacrifice for the sake of my gifts and helping people because that's not what helps people.
Self-sacrificing does not help people.
It just leads to burnout and then you're actually able to help less people whenever you're burned out and you have no energy.
But instead,
Whenever you follow your joy,
This is the lesson I've been learning.
This cycle that has finally come full circle and I'm finally learning what this chain was supposed to teach me.
Following your joy,
That is how you heal the world.
By healing yourself first,
By.
.
.
Sorry,
My cats are going crazy right now.
They see a bird outside of the window so if you hear anything crazy,
It's just them.
They're being totally wild right now.
Where was I?
Following your joy and healing yourself first,
That is the most selfless thing you can do for the world around you.
That is how you heal the world is by healing yourself first.
By following your joy,
That is how you bring joy and you bring light into the entire universe.
That is the lesson I've been learning.
I know I'm repeating myself a little bit right now.
I just want to keep talking.
I just want to stay in the flow.
It's been really hard for me to sit down and record these episodes so just to practice,
I've been turning on my voice memos every time I'm in the car.
I haven't been letting myself listen to music.
And.
.
.
Hi Kiwi!
And I've just been talking to myself and recording myself in the car just to get the ball rolling and get used to communicating and talking.
So that's really been helping.
So right now,
I'm sorry if I'm just rambling,
But this is helping me to just keep talking.
It's helping me get a lot more comfortable with continuing the podcast.
So that's what I'm working on right now because this is a creative project for me.
This is not a side hustle or a career for me,
Creating this podcast and creating my meditations on Insight Timer.
This is solely for my own creative expression and my own way of embodying my vision for my life.
I know I'm getting a little bit off topic here.
We were supposed to be talking about cycles and seasons,
But really I just felt called to sit down and just talk to you guys about whatever was on my heart,
Whatever was on my mind,
And this is just what it happens to be.
I wanted to talk to you guys about how to feel comfortable being at the beginning,
Giving yourself grace and being patient with yourself.
It is so.
.
.
It can be so traumatizing being at the beginning of your manifestation.
I know we talk about manifestation a lot here on the podcast.
Manifestation is something that's always been very important to me in my life,
But it's so important to differentiate between creating and controlling,
Right?
When we are coming from a space of creating,
We are in flow,
We are in alignment,
The energy is easy,
It feels good.
But when we are controlling,
We are impatient.
We are coming from a place of lack.
There's not enough to go around.
I don't think I can actually get what I want,
So I have to control it.
So whenever we talk about feeling comfortable being at the beginning,
Giving yourself time to grow,
Your work evolves as you evolve.
We need to be coming from a place of authenticity and not control and impatience,
Right?
So there are a few steps to feeling comfortable being at the beginning.
The first is patience.
Trusting that your work evolves as you evolve.
Sometimes we're just not ready for the full actualization of our manifestation,
So we're going to continue to experience these cycles,
These lessons.
We have to continue being a student before we become the master and being comfortable with that.
The next is gratitude.
Whatever you are grateful for,
You will receive more of.
This is how you get into vibrational alignment with your manifestation.
Consistency.
The plant does not get watered only one time,
But you come back and water the plant every single day.
These are the three steps to feeling comfortable being at the beginning.
Today we are just talking about being a student.
Lessons and cycles.
Turning to nature.
Whenever you are lost in life,
Turn to nature.
Whenever you are feeling uncomfortable being at the beginning,
Turn to nature.
Look at the process of nature,
But also check in with yourself and notice are you creating or are you controlling?
I want you to meditate on this concept today,
Okay?
I also want you to use your hindsight 20-20 vision and notice how everything has worked out perfectly to lead you to this exact moment.
So this exact moment will work out perfectly for you too.
Let's talk about that.
Yeah,
Using our hindsight 20-20 vision,
Everything has always worked out before.
Everything has led you to exactly where you are right now.
That is how you feel comfortable being at the beginning.
That is what life is trying to teach you by putting you at the beginning.
In a way,
We are always in the beginning.
We are always wanting something new.
We are always working towards something new.
And this is the most beautiful time.
Right now you are living the life.
You are right in the middle of the moment that five years ago you were dreaming about.
Think about that.
How has life worked out perfectly?
I'm stuttering.
How has life worked out perfectly for you,
Leading you to this moment?
Whenever you feel overwhelmed,
Burned out,
Disconnected,
Turn to your body.
What does your body have to tell you?
Being a student is more than turning to nature,
But it is also turning to your body,
Listening to your body.
Let's go ahead and do a quick body check in while we're here right now and if you're not driving or operating heavy machinery,
Of course.
My dear friend Kayla taught me this energy alignment technique.
So I would like to share it with you guys today just to tune into your body and just check in and see how you are doing,
How you are feeling.
I want you to start by taking a few deep breaths.
I know we're just kind of jumping into it right now,
But I just kind of felt called to just go absolutely wherever with this podcast episode.
So that's where we're going.
Absolutely wherever.
And whenever you're ready,
I'd like you to place one hand on your heart and take a deep breath into the space and releasing that breath.
Moving your awareness down into the solar plexus,
Taking a deep breath into the space and releasing the breath into the sacral.
Deep breath in and a deep breath out,
Down to the root.
Deep breath.
Moving back up to the heart.
A deep breath into the heart and releasing the breath into the throat.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out,
Into the third eye.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out,
Into the crown.
Deep breath in and releasing the breath.
Now let's return back to the heart whenever you're ready.
What is your body telling you?
Notice where you feel any sensations and you want tingling or buzzing and then tune into those spaces.
You can pause this episode and come back whenever you're ready because we're going to keep going.
Hello and welcome back if you took a little bit of a break.
Let's go ahead and just jump right back into what we were talking about.
Let's talk about cycles of energy.
Whatever we resist persists.
We break the cycle by being present with what is.
Let's talk about healthy energy,
Which is flowing energy.
Unhealthy energy is stagnant energy.
Now how does energy become stagnant?
Energy becomes stagnant by resisting,
Controlling,
Fighting the natural flow of our energy and that's how blockages are created.
Now don't make this mistake of working your healing or intellectualizing your healing in place of actually healing.
You heal by letting go.
You heal by returning to a space of healthy energy,
Which is flowing energy.
Letting go.
Remember,
Whatever we resist persists.
When we resist or hold on or force or control,
That is how we create blockages and stagnant energy and that is unhealthy energy.
What we are ultimately trying to get at here is reconnecting with the present moment and pure embodiment.
The ultimate lesson that our soul is trying to teach us in this moment is the realization of I am.
You are exactly what you are seeking.
You are already everything you are called to.
Tap into the source of infinite energy that is flowing within you always.
Find ways to live as that person every single day.
Visualize that person.
As though you are looking through a mirror.
Looking right back because you are that person.
That is the ultimate lesson our soul is trying to teach us.
That everything you are attempting to manifest already exists within you.
The source of infinite energy is flowing through you always.
That is the purpose of manifestation and I'm totally repeating what I was talking about in yesterday's podcast but I just really wanted to expand on this even further today.
I just felt called to talk about it.
The purpose of manifestation is to create your own reality instantaneously.
You manifest instantaneously by connecting with the energy and realizing that the energy is the actualization of the manifestation.
Of course the physical world will catch up with time but instantaneously you have the power to manifest anything that you could ever possibly want.
Abundance,
Love,
Health,
Energy.
This is all flowing within you but to do this you must manifest from the feeling.
This is such a big lesson that I've been learning and this has come in the form of a cycle.
Like I said,
Lessons are cyclical.
This has come in the form of a cycle because I have manifested so much and I've realized that whenever I switch my perspective and I intend to manifest from the feeling instead of manifesting from the physical,
I am manifesting overnight.
Whenever I focus on the feeling of abundance,
I am abundant immediately.
I have manifested exactly what I'm looking for immediately.
I want you to meditate on this today.
What does it mean for you to live in the end right now?
What does it mean for you to live in energetic alignment with your desire right now?
What does it mean for you to be a creator rather than a controller in this moment?
Meditate on these questions.
I think that this is all that I have for you guys today.
Thank you so much for tuning into today's podcast.
I love you all and take care.
Bye!
