Welcome to the Stay With Yourself meditation for being grounded in love.
Start by sitting in a chair with your feet firmly planted on the floor and your hands gently resting in your lap.
Take three deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
As you breathe,
Feel your body relaxing,
Releasing tension in your neck and shoulders,
Allowing your spine to be tall and upright so that your heart space can soften and open.
Relax your hips and your thighs onto your chair.
Feel yourself completely supported by your seat,
By your body held together.
Now I want you to imagine that deep inside you,
At your center,
Is a small little version of yourself.
This is your truest self,
Your real self,
The self that wants to grow and fill you.
With each breath in,
I want you to imagine that this little self is growing.
Breathe in and you expand a little more.
Breathe in again and you expand some more until eventually this small self is now filling your entire body.
All the way up to the edges of your being,
You are filled with your truest self.
And this true self is love,
Fully and completely.
This true self is made of love,
Comes from love,
Radiates love.
You are so deeply loved.
This is who you are.
You are love.
You are filled with love and you are able to expand this love beyond the edges of your body.
You are able to grow and share this love that is your very essence,
Your very nature with the world around you.
With each inhale,
Become more and more connected with your true self,
With the love that is always there,
With how deeply loved you are.
And imagine feeling this way all the time,
Full of love,
Your birthright,
Your whole being.
Imagine offering this love to anyone and everyone who comes in contact with you.
You can expand this love out past the edges of your body,
Creating a sphere,
A protective circle around yourself that is love.
It is unending.
It is boundless,
Infinite love.
This is where you come from and this is who you are.
Imagine that anyone you come in contact with who enters this sphere of love that surrounds you feels how deeply loved they are.
Not just by you,
But because that is their birthright too and that is where they come from.
From love.
From love that is how they were made,
Just like you.
It's at your very center.
And then you can also practice bringing this circle back in,
Being filled up just to the edges of your body,
Just inside your body,
Full and complete and whole and completely solid,
Totally completely rooted and centered and anchored in love.
This is your foundation.
This is where all of your growth comes from.
The soil of love.
And it's always here for you,
Ready to grow and expand and to fill you up and to speak truth to you.
So you can tell yourself now,
I love you.
Tell the 50 trillion cells in your body,
I love you.
And feel your entire body vibrating with love because you are so deeply loved.
And come back to this as often as you need to.
To be grounded,
To be centered.
Anchored to love.
And when you're ready,
You can come back to your breath.
Take three more deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Hold on to this love,
To being filled with it.
And when you're ready,
You can slowly open your eyes.
