With a background in military and law enforcement service, Richard brings lived experience to this work, along with formal training in mindfulness and coaching. He is trained through UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center and certified through the Evidence Based Coaching program at Fielding Graduate University. As a researcher and trainer, Richard focuses on the intersection of mindfulness, resilience, and human performance in high-stress, high-reliability professions. The practices he shares are grounded in science and shaped by real-world complexity. They support nervous system regulation, self-awareness, compassion, and the development of an adaptive mindset. This is a space to strengthen attention and a grounded sense of self—while building the capacity to move forward with compassion and skillful action.
