Hello, I'm Katie, a mindfulness meditation teacher and licensed therapist with specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches. For nearly 20 years, I've supported people through anxiety, trauma, burnout, health challenges, and the many complexities of being human. Through years of practice and a great deal of learning and unlearning, I've come to trust something: what we’re looking for is already within us all. A quiet inner steadiness that doesn't need to be built or forced, only remembered. My approach is invitational, no forcing, fixing, or bypassing. It weaves mindfulness, safe somatic practice, nervous system awareness, with compassionate existential inquiry. I host monthly community practices, Pause for Presence, Somatic Sangha, and offer self-paced courses on Insight Timer, including my most recent, The Body Is the Way.
