Welcome. I’m Katie and I truly believe inner peace, clarity, and calm are often closer than we think. Sometimes we just need a little support on our path to finding our way back. I’m a licensed psychotherapist, somatic practitioner, and mindfulness meditation teacher with 20 years of experience supporting folks through anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, grief, complex trauma, chronic pain, sleep issues, and the many broader complexities of just being human these days. My work draws from many paths: mindfulness, nervous system regulation, somatic and embodied practice, compassionate existential self-inquiry and contemplative wisdom traditions. Each one is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and settle into a deeper sense of presence, safety, and self-trust. I host two monthly live practices, Pause for Presence and Somatic Sangha, and offer courses on Insight Timer, including The Body Is the Way and The Daily Return, with the occasional pop-up class. If you’re here, my hope is that you find something that helps you exhale a little more or perhaps feel a bit freer. Thank you. There is so much in this course. I want to do the course again from the beginning. I’d forgotten what an incredible resource my body is for guiding me to where I am, who I am and how I am. I especially appreciate the calmness of your voice, the breaks and pace of the lessons, allowing space before the reflection questions and deeply thoughtful reflection questions that brought some closure and consolidated learning to each lesson.
