Now is the time to let go of fear.
What a topic to explore as it's so prevalent in today's society.
I guess in some way a little bit of fear helps protect us and keep us from danger,
Our harm.
But that's not the kind of fear that we will be exploring today.
We will be looking at the unhealthy form of fear.
The self-imposed form of fear.
The kind of fear that keeps us immobilized or in a state of indecision or apprehension or even restlessness.
This kind of fear only makes us suffer and really prevents us from living a full life and from doing the things that we need to do to progress forward.
Or it prevents us from just simply doing the things that make us truly happy,
Free,
Alive,
And living our purpose.
We know that fear can be a true hindrance and a fearful mind is rarely still.
It analyzes,
Judges,
And can obsess.
And quite often we've conditioned ourselves to do this.
But what a pity,
It only causes pain.
And when the mind is locked down with these activities,
It can know no peace,
Allowance,
Or freedom.
We remain stagnant or stuck.
So let's free yourself from this stuff so you can be the best version of yourself.
So welcome to this guided meditation for proclaiming freedom from your fears.
Through this meditation,
You will be able to witness your fears without judgment about them.
May acknowledge them with love and allow yourself to simply move on.
Afterwards,
You will achieve a sense of peace and relief and almost like a veil has been lifted from your eyes.
And you will feel full of light,
Courage,
Strength,
And joy.
And you will be happy to move forward with your life.
It'll be an amazing relief to release these burdens of fear and finally free them from your mind and from your heart.
For some,
This might take a little bit of time and practice,
Especially if fear has been a significant factor in your life.
But this is okay.
Be gentle with yourself.
You are here and you are working on it.
This is the first step that should be commended,
Willingness.
So listen to this meditation as much as you need.
You will get stronger and will achieve a sense of freedom that we are talking about.
And finally,
You will know that things will work out in some way or another and you'll have peace in your heart.
So you are ready to do this.
As always,
Please find yourself in a comfortable,
Safe,
Relaxed position and in a place where you are as free as you can be from any distractions that could potentially arise and where you can become settled in.
So slowly begin to turn your attention inward.
Allow your day and all the things you have done and have to do to just simply fade away.
Imagine just turning down the volume on all of these kind of thoughts in your mind.
You can always return to them as needed if you must after this meditation is over.
But right now,
They really serve no purpose for you because this time is just for you.
So breathe.
So now,
Allow yourself,
Your mind,
Your body,
Your breath to settle in for a moment and then begin to close your eyes.
Always take a few long,
Deep breaths.
Imagine that with each breath,
You are channeling a deep sense of relaxation and peace and it is coursing through your mind and your body and your heart.
It feels so wonderful and tranquil.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
As always noted,
Your breath is a truly powerful tool,
One in which you can use at any time,
Any place,
Not just during this meditation,
But in your everyday waking life.
So just notice and enjoy the comfortable,
Peaceful feeling that your breath produces,
Calming you.
Should you struggle during this meditation or this process in general,
Just remind yourself to breathe.
This is your key.
So breathing in,
Breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Turning loose and setting free.
Wonderful.
You are now at a place of deeper relaxation,
Settled in and feeling peaceful and feeling at ease.
Much more relaxed than before.
So let's begin to scan your body for any areas of tension.
You will be working your way from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
You will do this twice and I will guide you the first time.
So you're just going to notice where you might feel any areas of tension or pain or resistance and imagine just breathing through them.
Imagine that your breath has the capacity to simply wash away these sensations,
Dissolving them,
Setting them free.
So go ahead and begin scanning your body,
Starting at the top of your head.
Now moving to your face and breathing and relaxing your jaw,
Your neck,
Your shoulders and the space in between your shoulders.
On your spine relaxing and breathing the front of your body,
Your chest,
Your heart,
Your stomach,
Relaxing and breathing.
Your arms,
Your elbows,
Your forearms,
Your wrist,
Your hands,
Release your hands and let them fall open.
Your fingers relaxing and breathing.
Now to your hips,
Relaxing your lower back,
Your backside,
Relaxing down your thighs,
Your knees,
Your shins,
Your calves,
Your ankles.
Relaxing down now to your feet and to the tips of your toes.
Relaxing,
Breathing,
Falling open and filling loose and heavy and peaceful.
Breathe.
Just notice how your body feels now,
Relaxed and free and settled.
Good.
So now it's your turn.
Scan your body again,
But this time from the tips of your toes to the top of your head and do the same process,
Simply breathing through any bits of tension or stress or resistance.
Listen to your body,
Witness it and direct your breath to each area specifically.
I will give you a few moments to do this.
So now,
You are at an even deeper level.
You are at an even deeper state of relaxation,
Even much more relaxed than before.
Breathe.
So now,
Let's begin to go a little bit deeper and start exploring this concept of fear and what it means for you and how it's made its presence known in your life.
You may already have a good idea of what you fear specifically.
Or maybe it's just a general sense of disease or apprehension that you carry around with you a good deal of the time.
Either which way,
It's okay.
But now,
I would like to ask you to just connect with whatever it is for a moment.
This feeling of fear.
Call it up and just notice it and witness it.
And especially,
Just acknowledge it to the best that you can.
Breathing.
If you're able to give a name to these fears or this fear,
Go ahead and call it out.
Not judging again,
Just acknowledging it and being sweet to yourself while doing so.
This is the first step.
Breathing.
Relaxing.
And I believe it's okay.
So now you're invited to take a moment to just think about how long this fear or these fears have been a part of your life.
Go back in time and just take a look as an outside observer.
Again,
This is not done in a judgmental way.
You're just recognizing.
Maybe this fear has gone on for a really long time or maybe it's rather recent.
Again,
Either way,
It's okay.
Just a little bit of breathing.
So now I'd like to ask you to think of specific examples of how this fear currently or in the past has affected you,
Your thoughts,
Your feelings,
Your behaviors.
Or in what way has it influenced certain situations or certain relationships with others?
Have these feelings of fear held you back or made you feel stuck?
Have they caused you to know pain or suffering or extreme indecision or just an inability to act?
Has this fear served to distance you in some way from people or things or just from life in general?
Has the fear kept you safe in any way?
So just connect with this for a moment longer,
Only with acceptance and not harsh judgment.
If this part is a little bit hard for you,
You're always welcome to just truly forgive yourself for this.
It's okay.
We are humans.
But you're working on this now,
Which is truly remarkable.
So breathing,
Relaxing.
So in doing this,
Acknowledging your fears and the influence they might have had on your life overall,
I'd like for you to now ask yourself,
What would you like to do with it now?
Perhaps let it go?
If so,
Then please say to yourself in an affirmative way,
I am ready to let this go.
I release my fears.
This is your proclamation from now on.
Relaxing.
Feeling loose.
And setting free.
So now,
I'd like for you to imagine that you are on a beautiful,
Secluded beach.
It's quite a lovely beach.
It's warm and it's peaceful.
You can hear the sounds of the ocean waves and it's so tranquil.
Allow the sun to gently grace your body and fill its warmth.
Feel the light cool breeze of the ocean on your face.
So just take it all in and just be in this lovely,
Calm moment.
So imagine now that next to you in the sand where you are standing are some small glass bottles.
Just take a look at these little bottles,
But know that each bottle represents the fear in which you acknowledged earlier.
In a moment,
You will begin to fill these bottles with all the energy that involves your fear.
And then you will cast it away out into the ocean to just later dissolve and disappear completely.
So take a look at a bottle.
Pick it up,
Witness it,
Observe it,
And imagine that somehow you are going to pour all the contents and the energy related to your fear into this bottle.
If you'd like to imagine that you're using the sand as a metaphor and pouring it into the bottle,
You're certainly welcome to do this,
Or you can do it on your own.
So now imagine that you are filling the bottle with all this energy,
With all this time you spent with your fear and the feelings associated with it,
Maybe the situations it has impacted you,
And all the consequences that you can imagine.
You might just have one bottle,
Or maybe you have several.
Either way,
It's okay.
So go for it.
Take an honest and sincere moment to do this.
And in doing this,
Just acknowledge what feelings come up for you in doing this,
Knowing that however you feel is okay.
You're about to do something very powerful for yourself.
Breathing in and breathing out.
So when you're ready,
You'll cast away the bottle out into the ocean,
Where it will later dissolve forever.
So go ahead,
Grab the bottle that you filled up,
Calling it by name.
I will count to three,
And when you're ready,
You are to throw it out,
Cast it far out into the deep blue ocean,
And watch it fly far,
Far away.
And when doing so,
You are invited to call it out by name and say,
I release you.
I am free from you now.
Thank you and goodbye.
Ready?
One.
Two.
Three.
Release the fear from your heart,
From your mind.
Let it go.
This fear no longer serves its purpose for you anymore.
So just watch it leave and dissolve.
Breathing.
Should you have more than one bottle?
Go ahead and do this with the others.
You'll have a few moments to do so.
If that was the only bottle,
Then just breathe and relax.
Wow.
How truly remarkable for you to do this.
So I'd like to ask you to really connect with what this feeling is like for you to have released such a burden.
How do you feel now?
What comes up for you?
Whatever it is,
Just breathe into it.
You have done such a wonderful thing and can now finally move on and you will know peace as you course through this life.
Now that the fear is not there,
It will be replaced with joy,
Confidence and most of all,
Just love.
And it will feel so good.
From now on,
You will be able to say to yourself and believe that things will be okay and that I'm okay.
And you'll have trust.
Now,
If you're still struggling a little bit with this process,
That is okay.
Just keep trying.
You will get there.
But now you feel so much more peaceful and freer.
Whenever any kind of tension or fear creeps its little head,
You will simply replace it with love and peace and will know that you can move forward.
But this time with a strong conviction that fear no longer takes a precedence in your life.
And so,
Take this feeling of true liberation with you wherever you go and share it with others.
This world needs it.
Breathing.
How brave of you to do this.
It must feel really good.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Turning loose.
And setting free.
So when you are finally ready,
I will count to ten.
And as I'm doing so,
I'd like to invite you to start slowly bringing your awareness back to this time and space.
Feeling good.
Feeling refreshed.
Feeling confident and ready to move forward in your life once and for all.
So get ready.
