Wild and Rooted: A Clarity Expedition is a 7-day immersive experience in the Sacred Valley designed for souls craving something that feeds their spirit AND their sense of adventure. We go deep. We get wild. We come home to ourselves. Through ancient Andean ceremony, energy healing, movement, sacred sites, and genuine human connection, you will shed what has been weighing you down and return home rooted, clear, and lit up from the inside out. This is not your average retreat. This is the one you will talk about for the rest of your life.

Munay Sonqo is a conscious, intentionally designed retreat center built with natural and local materials (stone, adobe mud brick, timber, clay tiles), rooted in regenerative and sustainable practices, and deeply aligned with the essence of the Sacred Valley. The name literally means "Loving Heart" in Quechua. It's luxurious in the way that matters: beautiful, high vibrational, well cared for, but it's earthy and soulful, not sterile.

The food at Munay Sonqo is one of the things people talk about long after they leave. Three abundant meals a day, prepared by phenomenal Peruvian chefs who treat cooking as its own form of nourishment. Ingredients are locally grown, fresh, and mostly organic, many sourced directly from Sach'a Munay, the retreat center's own NGO farm, including hearty organic eggs. The water comes straight from the mountains above and is filtered through a Kangen system. Meals are vegetarian by default, though chicken and fish can be requested. You eat in a two story restaurant with floor to ceiling windows, skylights, and a large terrace for sunset dining. Your group has its own private dining and lounge space, so every meal feels intimate and intentional rather than cafeteria-style. Vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options are all accommodated. Think vibrant, colorful Peruvian cuisine like quinoa dishes, roasted vegetables, fresh salsas, warming soups, and flavors you genuinely cannot get anywhere else. Food here is not an afterthought. It is part of the medicine.

Schedule

Here you go: Each day at Wild & Rooted is thoughtfully designed to balance deep inner work with wild adventure and genuine rest. Mornings begin with energy healing yoga and movement led by Nikki, setting the tone for the day ahead. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the retreat center's beautiful restaurant, with organic ingredients sourced from the property's own farm. Days weave together ancient Andean ceremony, sacred excursions, community connection, and spacious free time to integrate, journal, walk in nature, or book an optional massage at the Qhalilla Spa. Evenings are intentional and unhurried -- bonfires, sharing circles, sound healing, and stargazing under some of the clearest skies you will ever see. The highlight of the week is a full overnight trip to Machu Picchu, one of the most energetically charged sites on earth, with a spiritual guide to deepen the experience. No two days look exactly the same, but every day is designed to help you go deeper, feel more alive, and come home to yourself in a way that lasts long after the journey ends.
