This is a gentle somatic practice for noticing body tension without forcing it to go away. Together we'll notice where the body might be bracing or holding, then move your attention slowly between areas of tension and areas of support, so nothing has to be pushed away. It draws on mindfulness and nervous system awareness, working at a pace your body can follow. This practice may be supportive during body tension, stress, anxiety, chronic pain, muscle bracing, or a nervous system that feels activated and on alert. The more you return to it, the more your body learns it can soften a little without being rushed. Please be gentle and patient with yourself. Sometimes it can take a bit of time for our bodies to unwind. I hope it offers you some support, Katie
