Welcome to this 5 minute meditation.
Just enough time to fly a kite and let go of unwanted emotions.
5 minutes can be enough.
So let's begin.
So please get seated and take a nice deep breath in.
Please close your eyes ready to expand the mind.
Simply follow the next two breaths in.
Now simply imagine alone upon a grassy hill in a big empty green field.
Imagine kicking your shoes off and feel the green grass that is soft and dry.
But fully aware of some unwanted emotions and attached to you in a way is a long,
Very long cord.
The cord is attached to a real flying kite that at this moment represents unwanted emotions.
Simply say to yourself,
I wish the wind would blow them all away.
With these words a strong mighty wind blows on your entire face and entire body.
Press the wind now by holding your kite against it.
Then still holding the cord of the kite,
Walk down the grassy hill letting the kite grab the windy air.
The windy air loves the kite and naturally takes it up higher into the sky.
Watch the kite change in size,
Getting smaller and smaller as it simply gains height.
Let out as much cord as you can so the kite can get a good breezy clean.
Feel a sense of freedom and lightness as you look again gazing at all of the big sky with that tiny kite in it.
Move the cord left then right and watch the tiny kite almost dance in the wind.
Notice again the weather is changing,
Again more sunshine with the wind.
Remembering you left your shoes on that grassy hill,
So intend by the time you get back up the grassy hill the kite is fully returned to come back to you on that grassy hill.
First thank the wind for it has too laid itself to rest.
Be attentive and notice for any changes in how the kite looks now.
Simply expect it to look better,
Maybe brighter,
More colourful.
Then put your shoes on feeling ready for anything new.
Feel stronger,
Happy,
Fully focused that all is in divine order once more.
