Are you ready to meditate with Kori?
Lay down in your bed and be still and quiet.
Make sure that the light is just right in your room.
Be wearing your comfortable pajamas and you're ready to relax your body.
Close your eyes if you haven't done so already and see if you can take a big deep breath.
Relaxing your body and staying as still as you possibly can take another big deep breath.
Put all of your focus and attention down onto your feet and just wiggle your toes.
Feel your toes under the covers,
The weight of the bedsheets.
Notice if you're cold or whether you're warm.
And then because you have your eyes closed,
Really go inside of your body and feel the sensations in your feet.
See if you can feel any tingling sensations in your feet.
Maybe they feel like they're pulsing or vibrating.
Start to communicate with your body by using the power of your mind.
Tell your feet it's time to relax.
Just say the words inside of your mind.
You don't have to speak out loud.
Just tell your feet it's time to relax.
And let your feet get very heavy in your bed.
Do the same now with your legs.
With your eyes closed,
Go inside your body and feel all the different sensations in your legs.
Notice if your legs feel tired or if your legs feel heavy.
Notice if you can feel any tingling sensations in your legs,
Pulsing sensations in your legs.
Keep breathing nice and slow with your eyes closed and just pay attention to your legs and then use your mind,
The power of your mind,
And tell your legs it's time to relax.
With your eyes closed,
Start to think about your hips and your back and your lower tummy.
Just feel those places in your body.
Go inside and see if you can feel any sensations in those parts of your body.
Use your mind,
The power of your mind,
And tell your back and your hips and your lower abdomen that it's time to relax.
Feel your tummy.
Notice if it's moving or gurgling or if it's got any sensations inside of your tummy and around your ribs.
Always have your eyes closed so you can really feel inside of your body and you can focus on the sensations.
Use the power of your mind and tell your stomach it's time to relax.
Put all of your focus and attention on your chest and around your shoulders.
Notice if you can connect to your heart beating inside of your chest.
Feel if your heart is going fast or slow.
And then use your mind to tell your chest to tell your heart it's time to relax.
Focus on the tops of your arms now and feel around your shoulders and the tops of your arms.
Notice if you're tense in your shoulders or if your shoulders feel tight.
Use the power of your mind to tell your shoulders and the tops of your arms it's time to relax.
Slowly moving down towards your wrists.
Moving all the way down towards your fingertips.
Feel your hands,
Your fingers,
Your arms.
Notice if there's any tingling sensations or vibrations.
And then use your mind and tell your arms it's time to relax.
Feel the back of your head on your pillow.
See if you can soften all the muscles in your face.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your cheeks.
Relax the space around your eyes.
Feel with your eyes closed all the different sensations in your head and your face and the back of your head.
Use the power of your mind and tell your head it's time to relax.
Now with your eyes closed,
Feel your entire body from your toes all the way up to the top of your head.
Use the power of your mind and tell your entire body it's time to relax.
Let your body sink deeper and deeper into your bed.
Tell your body it feels heavier and heavier.
It's time to relax.
