Moonbow Unicorn Forest For Children
This is the story of Stephany, who gets a pair of magical earrings for her 8th birthday and her whole life changes. A wonderful place called Moonbow Forest becomes a place she gets to visit where she meets with magical unicorns and other amazing things.

Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
Make sure that you're laying down and you're all comfortable in your bed.
Check that the light is just right,
Your room is just right.
You have your teddy or your doll or your toy and you're comfortable.
Stephanie got a very special gift for her birthday.
She got a pair of earrings and she loved them.
She'd wanted these particular earrings for a long time and her mom knew that and she got them her for her birthday.
And they were the bestest gift ever.
It was Stephanie's eighth birthday.
From that day on,
Everything changed for Stephanie.
She would have these weird episodes where she would be at school and she would be walking to her classroom and all of a sudden there would be like a crackle in her vision,
Like as if something was coming in front of her eyes all of a sudden and then it would just disappear.
As the days went on,
The crackle in front of her vision started to become clearer and clearer and it was almost as if like there was another world that she was seeing part of.
But at the same time she was still wherever she was when it happened.
So she was,
For example,
In her bedroom just doing her thing and then all of a sudden there would be this shimmer and crackle in front of her eyes and it was as if she could see into a different place.
Like a curtain was being pulled back and all of a sudden her bedroom would change and she would see a different world,
Like a different place.
And it would only happen for a split second and then her vision would go back to normal.
But like I said,
It was getting so that the seconds were getting longer and longer and her vision of the other place was getting more and more clear.
So she wasn't going anywhere magical.
Nothing changed.
Only this vision thing where it looked like there was a curtain being pulled back and all of a sudden she would see a different time,
A different place,
A different world and then it would flash back to normal and completely disappear.
It was very unusual.
This all started to happen after her eighth birthday when she got her earrings from her mum.
The earrings were from an antique store in town.
Where they came from before Stephanie got them would be a mystery.
But there was something about those earrings and how everything started to change when she wore them.
She wore them every day after her birthday.
She decided to take them out and not wear them for a day to see if the curtain and her vision would change.
The days that she didn't wear her earrings,
Nothing happened.
But as soon as she put her earrings back in,
She would start to have these visions.
The crackle,
The shimmer and then what looked like a curtain being pulled back,
Exposing another world.
It started to happen more and more and more.
To the point where one day she went to the bathroom at school.
She was looking in the mirror while she was washing her hands.
And all of a sudden the crackle came,
The shimmer came and the curtain got pulled back.
But this time it didn't drop forward again and disappear.
This time it stayed pulled back and it looked as if it was the mirror.
But really it wasn't.
She was staring into another world.
Stephanie blinked a few times and looked closer and leaned her head forward towards the mirror that was no longer a mirror.
Everything was bright and welcoming looking.
What she could see was grass,
Hills,
Lots and lots of flowers.
And one tree off in the distance that looked like it had a horse underneath the tree leaning down,
Eating the grass.
It didn't disappear.
She wondered what to do next.
Maybe I should go in there.
Maybe that's why it's staying open this time,
Stephanie thought.
She took a deep breath and jumped into what was once the mirror,
But was now another world.
When she landed,
She landed with bare feet on the grass.
The grass was warm and soft and very fluffy.
When she walked,
It felt spongy.
Stephanie walked forward making her way towards the tree with the horse underneath it.
But as she got closer and closer,
She started to see more and more horses off in the distance.
She got even closer to the horse under the tree and realized it wasn't a horse.
It was a unicorn.
Stephanie walked up closer to the unicorn.
She laughed gently,
Just to make her presence known.
The unicorn stopped eating the grass and looked up slowly and said,
Welcome to Moonbow Forest.
My name is Luna.
Stephanie didn't say anything at first.
But on the top,
She thought in her head,
Oh,
Hello.
My name's Stephanie.
And what did you say this place was called?
This is Moonbow Forest.
Welcome,
Said Luna once again.
You must be a very magical girl to have found yourself here in this magical place,
Said Luna.
Stephanie said,
Well,
I don't know about that.
I don't even know how I got here.
I just know that there's something to do with these earrings that my mom got me for my eighth birthday and magic.
And now here,
This place,
That's all I know.
She said,
Let me show you around.
She started to walk down towards the hill where the trees were thicker and the forest looked dense.
Along the way,
They met a couple more unicorns.
One of them was called Natalia.
Natalia liked to draw.
The only thing to draw was to draw with the stars at night.
Natalia was a unicorn that flew in the sky at night and changed the shape of the stars.
She would make them into pretty patterns,
Pretty shapes,
Shapes that held messages that people could read.
That was Natalia's job.
It was Tia.
Tia was a pink unicorn with a silver mane and a silver tail.
She was very pretty.
Tia's job was to make all of our wishes come true here on Earth.
She would fly around and just drop magical wish dust on anyone that had a pure open heart and make their wishes come true.
Sometimes people would wish and they would have to wait for a very long time.
But it wasn't Tia's fault.
Sometimes it just took her a long time to get to all the different people all over the world to sprinkle her magical wish dust.
Stephanie soon found out that everything about this place was magical.
One part of the forest,
The trees weren't actually trees.
They were made of chocolate.
Chocolate trees.
And the leaves weren't leaves.
They were chocolate bars.
And as she was walking past one of these magical chocolate trees,
One of the leaves dropped down and landed in front of her.
Luna said,
You can eat that one if you want.
The tree just gave you a gift.
Stephanie opened her mouth wide.
She picked up the leaf that wasn't a leaf,
That really was a chocolate bar.
It was pink and it had sparkles all over it.
Rainbow colored sparkles.
It was funny because when it was in the tree it was green,
But when it landed on the ground it was if it changed into exactly what Stephanie would dream a perfect chocolate bar would be.
And there it was in her hands.
She took a bite,
Swallowed.
It was the best chocolate she had ever,
Ever tasted.
And Stephanie had tasted a lot of different chocolates.
Chocolate was one of her passions.
She liked all different types of chocolate.
Dark chocolate,
Milk chocolate,
White chocolate,
Caramel chocolate,
Mint chocolate,
Orange chocolate.
You name it.
Chocolate was Stephanie's thing.
But this,
This tasted like dreams.
This tasted like the ocean.
It tasted like the sun.
It tasted like all of her favorite memories.
This chocolate bar made her instantly happy.
Not just a little bit happy.
Happier than she had ever,
Ever been.
It was like she was searching inside for a worry or a stress or an anxiety or something.
Nothing.
Nothing.
All she felt inside was warm,
Safe,
Loving,
Hugging,
Tender feelings.
She took a nice deep breath.
She couldn't believe how good this chocolate bar was making her feel.
She looked at Luna and said,
Is this real?
Is this normal?
Does this happen all the time with these trees?
My goodness.
How come these trees don't deliver these chocolate bars all over the world?
Luna didn't say anything.
She just let Stephanie babble on about the amazement of the chocolate bar.
And then she said,
Come on,
We need to keep going.
I have something else to show you.
They kept walking.
And this time they came to a lake that wasn't a lake.
It was the biggest,
Biggest pizza.
The best pizza that Stephanie had ever seen.
All the different pieces of the lake were different flavored pizzas.
All the toppings,
Every possible pizza topping you could think of was there on this lake.
She looked at Luna and said,
No way,
Chocolate and pizza?
I think I may die and go to heaven right now.
This is the best place on earth.
She ran over to the lake and knelt down.
And Luna said,
Don't touch.
Not unless the lake wants you to take a piece.
Stephanie sat back and just watched.
She could see a piece of just plain old cheese pizza.
But it looked like the best pizza ever.
Like it was made in some old,
Old tavern deep in the heart of Italy.
It looked just crunchy enough,
Just chewy enough,
Warm enough,
Greasy enough,
Hot enough.
The tomato sauce underneath the cheese had sprinkles of fresh herbs in it.
And the cheese looked like it was mozzarella,
Parmesan.
It had fresh basil that looked bright green.
It smelt beyond words.
She sat patiently,
Her mouth was filling,
Drooling almost.
And then she heard a voice.
You're welcome.
Go ahead.
You're welcome.
Stephanie leant forward and grabbed the piece of pizza that she'd been staring at.
She took a bite.
Everything stopped.
Everything stood still.
The world around her disappeared.
And everything went white,
Like she was in a white bubble of light.
The pizza melted in her mouth.
It was so good.
She opened her mouth and went for another bite.
And the pizza said,
Am I good?
Do I taste good?
Do you like it?
Is it everything you hope for?
Stephanie stopped really quickly.
She almost bit the talking pizza.
Oh,
I'm so sorry.
I'm so sorry.
Are you okay?
The pizza said,
Yes,
I'm okay.
I don't feel a thing when you take a bite.
That's what I'm for.
I just wondered if I tasted just like you were dreaming I tasted.
Don't you worry about me.
I'll just magically reappear once you have disappeared and joined the lake once again.
Well,
I don't think I can eat you now that you're talking to me.
Oh,
Go ahead.
You're okay.
Seriously,
Take a bite.
Stephanie said,
No,
No,
You're okay.
But thank you anyway.
She put the pizza back down to join the lake.
And yes,
The pizza was right.
It magically just filled back up.
It regained the bits that Stephanie bit off it and fell back into its place in the lake.
Stephanie looked at Luna and said that was a little bit weird.
They went over to a place where Natalia was.
The sun was going down and Natalia said,
Would you like to go on a special flight with me tonight?
Let's go to the stars and make some pretty pictures.
Stephanie said,
Oh,
Yes,
Please.
Yes,
I'd love to.
And within moments they were up flying into the sky.
It took a while before they got high enough that they were up amongst the stars.
The sky was bright because it was a full moon.
Stephanie couldn't believe that she was up there.
Moving stars in the sky,
Creating shapes and messages for the beings down below and in other worlds.
At one point,
She thought she may have held on tight and just closed her eyes and fallen to sleep just for a little bit.
She heard a noise and opened her eyes and saw herself in the mirror in the bathroom at school.
She splashed water on her face and looked at herself and wondered if she'd been anywhere.
Did moon,
Bow,
Forest even exist?
Natalia,
Luna,
Were they even real?
She went back to class and didn't have any more funny episodes that day.
In fact,
She didn't have any the next day or the next day after that.
It was as if Stephanie's magical earrings had one journey only.
One magical journey into moon,
Bow,
Forest,
Never to return.
That's what it felt like anyway.
But maybe in the future,
You never know.
Alright,
My little friend,
Time to relax now and go to sleep.
Close your eyes if you haven't done so already.
Let's get comfortable and still.
Relax your legs.
Let your legs get heavy in bed.
Just imagine that your legs have been busy all day long.
And now they can be still and quiet and relax.

Let everything start to fall to sleep.
Your shoulders and your arms relax and get heavy.
Your neck and your head relax into your pillow.

Vaya: Or is it?… Cherry: Well Cory says it is in her meditations silly.
