Good morning.

Before we begin the day,

I want to invite you to pause for a moment.

Take a seat,

Settle in and just allow yourself to be here fully.

Take a deep breath in and let it out slowly.

This moment,

Right here,

Right now,

Is yours.

There's no need to rush.

No need to be anywhere else.

You've made it to today.

And that is something worth acknowledging.

Now,

I want you to bring to mind something or someone you're grateful for.

It might be a loved one,

It might be the roof over your head,

Or the quiet strength you've shown in tough times.

Whatever it is,

Let it rise up in your thoughts.

Hold it there for a moment.

Breathe it in.

You don't have to say much,

Just let your heart speak.

Say to yourself,

I'm thankful.

Because when we start the day with gratitude,

We lead with perspective.

And perspective helps us show up.

For ourselves,

For our communities and for our families.

Now,

I want you to think about something that's been challenging lately.

Something that might weigh on you a little.

We all carry something.

The important thing is not to ignore it,

But to meet it with honesty and patience.

Say to yourself,

I don't need to have it all figured out today.

But I can take one step forward.

That is how progress is made.

Not all at once,

But step by step.

With intention,

With heart and with resilience.

Take one more breath in.

Let it out slowly.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Stand a little taller.

Walk a little steadier.

And carry that gratitude with you into the day ahead.
