You are not a project.
You don't need to fix yourself to be whole.
You're already okay.
I really thought that if I just improved enough I'd finally feel okay about myself.
But all that happened was that I felt more and more and more self-conscious.
I noticed more and more and more what was wrong with me.
And that just made that project bigger and bigger.
You are not a project.
You are universal intelligence.
You are everything in the universe.
Identity management keeps us in a cycle of stress and striving as we fight more and more to be something we think we're supposed to be.
The irony is as we step back from this,
As we stop seeing ourselves as this project,
All those things we thought were a problem start to fall away.
They fall away because we're not focusing them on them like we were before.
You're not a performance.
This is not a show you have to take seriously.
You're presence.
You're now.
And what is true right now is that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
Are you trying to be seen in a certain way?
Does it look like there's a right way to be in the world?
When we stop that,
When we stop trying to be seen in a certain way,
Mostly by ourselves,
Let's be honest,
Peace does return.
It's amazing to see that.
It's amazing to see that you truly are peace.
When I stopped treating myself like a project,
That peace came with so much more ease.
Wholeness doesn't come from fixing.
It comes from seeing there was never anything wrong in the first place.
You are not a project.
You are not a side hustle.
You are not some list of tasks to resolve.
You are already whole,
And well,
And perfect,
Just as you are.
