Warm welcome.

I'm so grateful to be together again.

So grateful for anyone that is here for the first time.

My name is Selena Layel.

I'm a yoga and meditation instructor,

A transformational coach,

And an awakened life teacher.

I have several recordings here on the app.

I have a 10 day course,

Yogic practices for a peaceful life,

And I am here for lives every week.

So here we are.

January,

What is the date?

25th,

Maybe January 25th,

2021.

Just take a breath in that together.

For many of us,

This last year was one of the most challenging years,

If not the most challenging year of our life.

For some of us,

It was the very best year of our life.

We all have different experiences in this life.

Yes.

Right.

What year?

So here we are.

We've made it.

We've made it to this moment,

To this space in creation,

This time in creation.

Let's just take a moment to breathe into that.

Wow.

I've,

I've persevered through so much and I'm still here.

I have faced so many challenges and I'm here.

Take a moment to reflect how many challenges or maybe not how many,

But just think about at least one challenge that you faced this last year that you overcame.

Maybe it was a challenge that felt impossible to overcome,

But you did it.

Take a moment to just reflect on that for a moment.

Wow.

There was one or maybe several challenges in this last year that I really didn't know how I was going to overcome and I did it.

I figured out a way.

I called upon the strength or the courage that it would take to navigate something like that.

I made it.

I'm here.

Let's just take a breath in that.

I'm here.

Feel your body.

I'm here.

Feel the beating of your heart.

I'm here.

I'm here.

Be grateful to yourself.

It's quite often uncomfortable or challenging to feel grateful when we're really in the thick of painful experiences.

I invite you right now to see if you can find even a little gratitude for yourself,

For everything that you have overcome just in this last year,

Just in the last year.

Yes,

I've made it through the day.

I'm just making it through the day.

Just a little gratitude for you.

Let's take a breath.

Here we are today.

Yes,

It is what many of us consider to be the new year.

Not all of us follow this calendar system.

Each day is an opportunity to begin anew.

You could even say each moment is an opportunity to begin anew.

Each day is an opportunity to become more aware of our habits and patterns that are keeping us living in a way of being that we're just so over,

We're so done with.

Each day we have an opportunity to become more aware and say,

Oh,

Wow,

I'm doing that thing that doesn't give me the results that I want.

It doesn't create the relationships I want.

It doesn't create the money that I want.

And rather than beating ourselves up,

Which we usually do,

Right?

Oh,

I'm doing the thing again.

Oh,

I don't have any energy again.

Oh,

I feel too depressed again,

Right?

We could go on and on.

Rather than beating ourselves up,

We have an opportunity to say,

Oh,

Oh,

This is a habit.

This is a pattern.

Meaning it's not who I am.

This is a habit in my life.

I invite you to consider for a moment that many of the ways that we feel throughout our days,

Exhausted,

Depressed,

Frustrated,

Disappointed,

That they're habits.

They're habits.

How interesting is it to consider that when we feel like maybe the world is falling apart or something's wrong,

It's not even necessarily the case.

It's the habit that we're living inside of.

Just take a breath into that.

How interesting it is to consider that the things that we feel are our own impending doom,

Depression or anxiety that feel like they're never going to go away.

What if they're just habits?

And a habit is something learned,

Yes?

A habit is something that has been repeated over and over again to the point that it becomes second nature.

So if these other ways of being have become habitual,

Is it possible that a new way of being could become habitual?

Just give me a yes or a no.

If so many of the ways that we live that we would rather not live,

Meaning the way we feel,

What we see in our world around us,

If so many of these perceptions and feelings are habitual,

Is it possible to create habits that are more in alignment with that which we are wanting?

The feelings,

Maybe even the material things,

The types of relationships?

I'm seeing yes,

Preach,

Absolutely,

Yes,

Absolutely,

Thumbs up,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes.

I can't tell you how many times in my life,

At least since this pattern has been part of my life,

Which it's actually shifting,

I'm happy to say.

Not because I should be proud of myself because it feels good.

The habit of exhaustion.

How many of you know the habit of exhaustion?

Maybe it's the end of the work day and even though maybe it wasn't a stressful day at work,

You feel exhausted at the end of your work day.

Or maybe it's the weekend and maybe you have a day off or maybe you don't even have a day off,

But all of a sudden it's the weekend and you feel really excited.

Or maybe you feel really exhausted.

We have all of these habits that we live inside of.

So many times I felt exhausted and it had nothing to do with the body.

It had nothing to do.

How many of you have ever had the experience of not getting very good sleep,

But you were so excited about something that you were full of energy?

Maybe you were trying to sleep the night before and you were so excited about someone that was going to.

.

.

Maybe you had a date the next day or maybe someone you love was coming to visit you or maybe you had something you were really looking forward to,

Some kind of fun vacation.

You didn't sleep well the night before,

But the next morning you woke up and you were just ready,

Yes,

Traveling.

Yeah,

That's a big one for many of us.

Vacation.

How many of you have had that experience of getting a terrible night of sleep,

But feeling great the next morning because of your state,

Your mental,

Emotional state?

Yeah,

We've got a hands up,

Lots of hands up coming in.

Yeah,

Yeah.

So this is it,

My friends.

Meaning so much of what we think is just the way it is.

Oh,

This is just how I feel.

This is just the way it is.

It has nothing to do with what we think it does.

So often we don't feel exhausted at the end of our work day because we need to take a nap.

We feel exhausted mentally or emotionally,

And that has sometimes nothing to do with the environment.

Get this.

This might be too much information,

So I invite you to take some deep breaths and just absorb whatever you can.

Sometimes when we feel that sense of something,

I'm using the example of exhaustion,

It doesn't even have to do with what happened that day at work,

For example.

It is the perception that we're carrying in our mind,

The perception that we carry in our mind.

Maybe we go to work,

And of course it's different now because many of us don't go to work anymore.

We work from home or maybe we're looking for work.

Some of us are still working very much.

But just imagine you go to work and it's a fine day.

Fine meaning everyone's in a decent mood,

Workflow isn't that bad,

But at the end of the day you still feel like it was a terrible day at work.

This is the perception that we carry.

And yes,

Someone is.

.

.

Katherine just shared something very important to also acknowledge that really impacts this state and these patterns that we live in,

And it's chronic illness.

Chronic illness.

When we are in an experience of physical pain or discomfort,

It takes a really trained mind.

We all have powerful minds.

It takes a really trained mind to not feel completely overtaken by that experience.

So let's just pause here.

We're really speaking to a lot already.

And my desire in this is to bring forth the awareness that you are freaking powerful.

Your mind is so powerful.

Your brain is insanely powerful.

How many of you have seen those types of things that have come out over the last years where you see one picture and half of the people that see that picture see one color,

And the other half of the people that see the picture see another color?

Like one example was the shoes.

There was a pair of shoes and some people would see the shoes as one color and others would see the shoes as another color.

This also happened with a dress.

Anyone remember this?

It was kind of like an internet blow up fad.

I don't know if fad isn't the right word.

Sensation,

I'm not sure.

Yeah.

So some of you are saying you remember them.

This is the power of your brain.

So it's not about having to change everything in our lives or change everything about who we are to have more of the life that we wish to have.

It is about training ourselves.

One of my favorite teachers,

Tony Robbins,

Speaks about training your state,

Meaning training an emotional state within us,

In the body and in the brain.

So much so that when we face challenges,

We can activate this emotional state rather than falling into the old habits of exhaustion,

Overwhelm,

Defeat,

Thought patterns of I can't,

It won't work,

I don't know how,

I feel lost.

We can train ourselves to live a life experience of more of what we are wanting.

It's not if you're lucky enough or if you're blessed enough.

You are powerful enough to create it yourself.

Alicia is sharing about the pictures,

The two different pictures,

Perception and lighting.

And I would say that yesterday my mom and I were sitting next to each other in the same lighting,

The same room and looked at one of those pictures and saw something completely different.

So yes,

Lighting can affect how we see things and the perception of the brain can have two people sitting side by side and because of their different perceptions,

They can see something completely different.

Yes,

We've spoken to this many times.

Yes,

Heidi is saying it's a lot about mindset.

Exactly.

And this comes back to training.

Training yourself to have the mindset that is an alignment with your goals,

That is an alignment with your desires,

That is an alignment with what it is that you want in your life.

So just take a moment,

Take a breath,

Shake it out a little bit,

Shake your hands,

Shake your shoulders and use your breath.

The breath is such a powerful way to kind of move us out of stagnancy.

So we're going to move into some journaling now.

So I invite you to have a journal and pen or pencil,

Or if you just have a piece of paper,

A few pieces of paper,

Or if you have a notepad,

Have something that you can write in.

And I invite you to write with your hand as opposed to typing something on your computer or your tablet or your phone.

I invite you to use your writing skills if possible.

I know some of us aren't able to move our physical body,

So maybe we use voice dictation or something like this.

If you are able to write,

We'll just take a moment here for everyone to grab something to write with if you don't already have it.

So again,

Yes,

We are in a new year and every day of our lives,

Every moment of our lives is an opportunity to choose something different.

Who here,

As we're waiting for maybe people to come back and get settled again,

Who here,

Just from our brief conversation or talk so far,

Is able to see a little bit of the patterns that you live inside it,

Is able to see a little bit of,

From the perspective that maybe there's more available to you in your life,

But you've been living in these other types of patterns and habits.

Who's able to see that a little bit?

Absolutely,

Yes.

Brain training.

I'm a lot more aware.

Definitely,

Totally.

Big eyeballs.

Hands up.

Yes,

Katie shares,

I have been more and more aware lately and eager to change.

I can tell I'm so powerful,

But I want to break the chain.

Great.

Let's just start with the awareness of the desire.

Yes,

I see for sure.

Thumbs up.

Yes,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes.

Great.

And for anyone who's kind of new to my style,

We engage this practice of awareness and self-empowerment.

And for me,

It is all about the coupling or the integration of these parts of ourselves with compassion,

With compassion and kindness.

I mean,

Becoming aware of the patterns that I have and maybe that I feel they're not serving me anymore and then saying,

Oh,

Selena,

I can't believe you're doing that again.

That's not going to serve me to open.

Sometimes we need a wake up call.

Sometimes we need a Selena,

You're here again.

More often than not though,

We need,

And I say more often than not because each of us are different.

For many of us,

What we need is a sense of being lifted up rather than being beat down because we are in our patterns and habits to be lifted up.

All right,

Here we are again.

Here we are again in this pattern of depression.

Here we are again in this pattern of fear.

Here we are again in this pattern of total frustration and feeling lost.

All right,

I'm aware of the pattern.

Now let's engage some tools to shift it.

Let's engage.

And again,

From anyone who's new here,

This is only one area that I really like to teach in.

Oftentimes we engage in practices that are not about taking action,

But they're all about just being present with how we feel.

And I'm saying this because some of us are always looking for a way to fix the problem,

End quotes.

Some of us are always looking for a way to have a solution to not feel quote unquote bad anymore.

Right?

And when we do that,

It's like we're again,

We're pushing ourselves up against a wall and not giving ourselves permission to be as we are.

So yes,

Sometimes we just need to know that it's okay to feel how we're feeling.

And for anyone who is ready to also add in something new,

Meaning,

Yes,

I've been practicing self-soothing,

Yes,

I've been practicing,

Giving myself permission to feel crummy.

Yes,

I've been practicing being more compassionate.

Now what do I do?

Now what do I do?

I'm ready.

I'm ready for more action.

I'm ready to retrain my brain.

How do I engage this as well?

So here we are.

Let's take another breath.

So take out your journal,

Your pen,

Your paper,

Your pencil,

Whatever you have to write with.

And I invite you to either have one large piece of paper where you can draw a line down the middle or have two pieces of paper side by side.

So if you have smaller paper,

You might want two side by side.

If you have a really big notepad,

A really big journal,

You can just draw a line down the center.

The idea is we want to have two columns here.

In the left-hand column,

That looks like right for you,

But on the left-hand side of your paper up at the top,

I invite you to write limiting beliefs and behaviors,

Limiting beliefs and behaviors.

And then on the right side,

I invite you to write expansive beliefs and behaviors,

Supportive beliefs and behaviors,

Whatever word you wish to choose them,

Expansive,

Unbounded,

Supported,

Constructive beliefs and behaviors.

And you can just write the beliefs and behaviors part one time.

I'm just giving you some options,

Whatever word resonates with you.

Totally alive,

Yes,

Beliefs and behaviors.

And now we're going to take some time.

Yes,

I love that.

Empowering beliefs and behaviors,

Yes,

Whatever word works best for you.

And you don't have to choose one.

You get the idea,

Yes.

So the left-hand side,

Limited beliefs,

Behaviors.

Right side,

Empowered,

Unbounded,

Supported beliefs and behaviors.

We're going to start on this left-hand side,

Yes?

So we're going to start with writing down all of the limited beliefs and behaviors you have.

So limited beliefs,

I'm not good enough.

I'm unworthy.

I can't do it.

I don't have what I need.

I'm not educated enough.

I don't have enough money.

I'm not creative enough.

I'm not powerful enough.

I'm not confident enough,

Whatever it is.

Write down all of these limiting beliefs and the behaviors as well.

What behaviors,

What patterns and habits are in your life that keep you in this limitation?

Maybe it's smoking or drinking or doing drugs,

Or maybe it's dishonoring your body and your emotions by engaging sexually with people that you know are not right for you,

That you know are not in alignment with your highest good.

Maybe it's playing small.

Maybe it's self-sabotaging in some way.

And again,

This is not a time to beat yourself up.

Just imagine that you are watching the story of your own life,

Maybe even from a place of compassion or just understanding and just write down.

We're going to spend the next couple of minutes here writing down all of the limiting beliefs and behaviors.

Just right away,

Keep going.

And if you get stuck,

Just take a breath.

What thoughts limit you?

What emotional habits do you live in that limit you?

And just stay on this left side,

Stay on the limiting side.

Maybe it's something that you heard in your life early on,

Something that someone taught you.

You're not smart enough.

You're not beautiful enough.

You're not handsome enough.

Write it all out.

Just let it out.

And if the tears come or if emotion arises,

That's okay.

Let that come out too.

And if you need to get another piece of paper,

Go for it.

Keep writing.

All limitations.

Just write it out.

Just let it out.

Where have you been holding yourself back?

Where have you not been giving yourself permission to be alive?

Where have you been holding the belief that love hurts?

All the beliefs you're ready to let go of.

You can do this.

I'm right here with you,

Our beautiful global community.

We're all here in this together right now.

You have so much support right now.

Just about another minute here.

Time to wrap it up.

All right,

Finish the last sentence that you're on or the last thought.

And set your writing utensil down.

Close the eyes for a moment.

And just be present with yourself.

Notice everything that you've been carrying inside.

Feel all of the limitation that you live inside of that isn't even true.

How many of these beliefs or behaviors did you learn from your parents,

Your teachers,

Maybe an old relationship?

These beliefs and these ways of being are not who you are.

They might really feel like it,

But they're not who you are.

You learned them from someplace outside of you,

Or you learned them as a way to survive.

They're not who you are.

They're not who you are.

So now I invite you to stand up unless you're in your car or unless you can't move your body.

If you're not able to physically move,

I invite you to just use your mind and your breath for this next part.

So stand up,

Set everything down,

And I just want you to move a little bit.

So you're going to move your body and use your breath.

We can't create something new from the same place that we've been living from.

We can't create something new from the same consciousness that created the old.

So right now,

Just move your body.

Move your body and use your breath.

And move your body in ways that you don't normally move.

Maybe just start to shake your shoulders,

Your hands.

Move your body from side to side.

Reach your arms up and down.

Start to get out of the stagnancy that these limiting habits and beliefs live in in your body.

Start to just shake it out.

And breathe.

Use your breath.

And if your mind is saying,

This is stupid,

This is silly,

That's the part of you that wants to stay stuck because it's comfortable.

So move your body.

And breathe.

Jump around.

Move your feet,

Your legs.

This is not about dancing.

This is not about looking pretty.

This is about getting out of these stuff patterns in your body.

Make some sound even.

And if you're saying to yourself right now,

I'm too tired to do this,

Go beyond that.

Go beyond that.

Start to cultivate this energy from within you.

You don't need something outside of you to make you feel better all of the time.

Use your body.

Just a few more seconds here.

Shake.

Move.

And breathe.

Pretend that I'm with you right now and I can see you.

Go a little stronger.

Move a little more.

Breathe more deeply.

Keep moving a little more.

Pretend that this is your last chance to move for the next day,

The next year.

Move as if this was your chance to just release any bit of anything you're ready to let go of.

And then find stillness.

Stay standing.

Stay standing.

And breathe into your chest.

Breathe into your belly.

Close the eyes.

Close the eyes.

And feel your breath.

Feel your breath.

Feel your feet on the floor.

And come to the heart.

Become aware of your chest.

Become aware of your heart center.

And breathe into the heart.

What is your heart speaking to you right now?

Without judging yourself,

Can you give yourself permission to just breathe into the heart?

What if you were the person that has all of the courage already?

What if you were the person that knew exactly what steps to take?

What if you were the person that lived a life fully open to love and possibility?

Who would you be?

How would that person think right now about life?

If you were already the person that you think you're supposed to be,

What emotions would you feel right now?

What possibility could you see for your life experience if you already knew how powerful you are,

If you felt it in every fiber of your being?

How would you stand right now?

If you knew without a doubt that you are worthy and lovable and so loved already?

How would you breathe if you knew that everything was going to be okay?

How excited about life would you feel?

If you were already the person that was living their dreams,

How excited would you feel about your life if you were the person right now that was living their dreams?

And if your mind is going into thoughts of,

Oh,

This isn't possible and the doubt,

That's the old,

That's the old paradigm.

That's the old habit.

That's the old belief.

Aren't you ready to try something new?

Even if just for a moment,

Let those thoughts pass.

It's okay if they come up.

They're going to come up.

You have thought them a million times.

Please come back to this.

Stand like you own your own life.

Stand like you are the creator of your own happiness.

Stand like you believe in yourself,

Like you believe in the beauty of life.

Maybe you open your arms,

Open your chest,

Feel your feet anchored.

We must stoke the fires of the imagination to awaken our desires.

We must stoke the fires of our imagination to awaken desire.

So many of us have stopped dreaming.

So many of us have lost the skill of using the imagination,

So right now,

I invite you to welcome,

Welcome the desires for your life that you hold for your life,

Not someone else,

Not who you think you should be,

Who someone else thinks you should be.

What is your heartfelt desire?

Is it to feel joy,

To travel,

To be in a beautiful relationship,

To have financial abundance,

Great health,

A strong body?

What is your desire?

What are all of your desires?

Let your imagination start to wake up right now.

Go beyond the doubts.

The doubts are of the old way.

If you already had everything you want and need,

How big would you let yourself dream right now?

Wake up the imagination even more.

Yes,

I see.

I see the possibility of a beautiful life.

Yes,

I want more love.

I want more joy.

I want more peace and fulfillment in my life.

And place your hands over your heart.

Once upon a time you were a child,

A child that remembered imagination.

Some of us when we were children,

We used to dream all of the time.

We used to fantasize about all of these beautiful possibilities in our life.

Feel the presence of this beautiful innocence,

This child,

This magic of life within you.

Even if you can't remember feeling this way,

It is in each of us.

Take a breath into your heart.

Imagine that you are turning to face your own self.

Because what we don't realize is through our thoughts about what everyone thinks we should be or our judging thoughts of our own self about who we're supposed to be or what we haven't done right or good enough.

Every thought we have like this about ourself,

We leave ourself.

We abandon our own self in that moment.

I'm not good enough.

I reject myself.

That person doesn't like me.

I reject myself.

I didn't do this the right way.

I reject myself.

So turn toward you.

You are so lovable.

You have such a beautiful mind.

You have so much strength and resilience.

You're here.

Turn toward you and see you as if for the first time.

See all of the creative ideas that you've had that you didn't share with others.

See how beautiful your heart is.

Even if it may be under layers of pain or shyness,

See how beautiful your heart is.

This loving heart,

This generous heart,

This kind heart.

See yourself and the beauty of you,

Not just physical beauty or attractiveness,

But the beauty of you,

The beauty of your personality,

The beauty of your essence,

Of your light.

You are not of this earth.

You are not this physical form.

You are not these patterns and behaviors.

You are not the emotions,

The thoughts.

You are something so much more.

Can you turn toward you right now in this moment and see you in all of your magnificence?

And it's okay if it's difficult.

It's okay if it feels awkward or unnatural.

This is how we create something new.

And you're welcome to sit down if you haven't already.

You're still standing and you wish you're welcome to sit.

Let the body be at ease.

See the beauty of you.

Believe in the beauty of you.

Maybe you feel like you're getting to see yourself or know yourself or meet yourself for the first time.

Welcome yourself in this meeting.

Welcome every part of you because even the limitations of the personality are to be welcomed into the heart rather than judged or rejected.

Even welcome the parts that you don't like.

And now from this place inside of getting to know yourself as who you truly are,

I invite you to slowly move the body a little and open the eyes.

And again,

Take your paper,

Your journal,

Your pen or pencil,

And without getting on the chat or getting distracted,

Move right into writing down all of the constructive,

The empowering,

The uplifting beliefs and behaviors that you hold.

And this is what you're already living in some way in your life.

Rather than a future memory,

Write down the ones you already hold.

And you may find that the positive or uplifting belief you hold is actually a contradiction of the unsupportive belief you hold.

That's okay.

Sometimes we hold both.

I love myself.

I don't love myself.

I'm not enough.

I'm totally worthy enough.

So write down every empowering,

Uplifting,

Enlivening,

Loving,

Constructive,

Positive belief and behavior that you hold.

I am awesome.

I am beautiful.

I am strong.

I'm creative.

I'm smart.

I'm a great leader.

I'm a great teammate.

I'm an amazing lover.

I'm attentive.

I'm kind.

I eat really well.

I exercise.

I meditate regularly.

I'm generous.

Write down all of these uplifting beliefs and behaviors.

And again,

These are ways that you already are in your life.

And again,

It's okay if it's uncomfortable.

Just keep setting the doubt aside and dig in.

Dig into your imagination.

Just keep writing.

Keep writing.

Keep writing when your brain says,

I don't know what to write.

Just keep writing.

At another minute,

All of the supportive,

Uplifting,

Positive,

Empowering beliefs and feelings.

And start to wrap it up.

Finish writing the current thought you're on.

And now again,

We can't create something new from the same place that the old was created.

We can't create new consciousness from the same energy or mindset or emotional or physical state that the old was created from.

So we are going to again,

Use the body and use the breath to create space for something new.

So again,

I invite you set everything down,

Stand up again.

If you can't move your physical body,

Use your breath.

You can use your imagination as if you are moving your body.

And I invite you to just move your body again,

Shake your body and move your body in any and every way,

Especially ways that you don't normally move.

This is how we come out of the patterns that we get stuck in.

So we're just moving the body.

Stand up and breathe.

Use your breath.

You can start by shaking.

Start by just bending the knees,

Shaking your hands,

Shaking your shoulders,

Move your arms,

Move your body and breathe.

And again,

This is not about dancing.

This isn't about looking sexy or pretty.

This is about getting out of the old patterns of the brain and the mind.

So just start to move your body and breathe.

It doesn't matter if you don't like the music.

It doesn't matter if you don't think you can dance.

Get out of your head and into your body.

Imagine that you are just shaking out every bit of the old,

Every bit of last year,

Every bit of hurt,

Every bit of stagnation and tension and this old tightness and limitation that you've been living in.

Move your body like you are freeing yourself right now of the old.

And shake.

Shaking is a really good way.

Shake your hands.

Shake your shoulders.

Keep moving.

Keep breathing.

Keep going.

We're just here for a little while longer,

So get out of the head and into the body.

Breathe.

Keep shaking.

Keep moving.

Keep doing something different with your body.

This is how we get out of the old stuck patterns.

Use your spine,

Your chest.

And lift the corners of your mouth.

What are you willing to release to open to something new in your life?

All right.

Beautiful.

And again,

Come to this place of stillness.

Close the eyes.

And now we move into this new space.

Can you feel something new?

You don't need to respond in the chat right now.

Just stay with you.

Eyes are closed.

Can you feel something new inside?

Can you feel your breath?

Can you feel your heart?

Can you feel the possibility of what you are training yourself to do in this moment?

Wow.

New life.

New life.

So from this place,

From this place,

Start to create in your mind.

Remember,

We need to use the imagination to awaken desire.

It is all about the imagination,

The faculties of the mind that bring the life of our deepest heart's desires to fruition,

That manifest it.

So right now,

Start to visualize the life of your dreams.

Open your arms.

Go beyond limitation.

We're done for that.

We're done with that for right now.

We're done with the limitation.

We're done with a doubt for right now.

For this moment in time,

Be open to something new.

What is a dream,

A desire that you have for your life?

See it.

Feel it as if it is already happening right now.

Eyes closed.

Go deep within.

I see myself living in a beach house or I see myself traveling the world.

And then once you choose that desire to focus on,

See it in every detail.

Who is with you?

What are you doing?

What smells do you smell?

What do you taste?

What do you feel in your body?

What colors do you see around you?

Now choose another area of your life,

Someplace else that you have this desire.

Maybe it's being in a beautiful relationship.

Rather than just saying,

I have a million dollars,

What are you doing with that money?

Get specific.

Train your brain right now to support you in the manifestation of your life.

If you have a million dollars,

What are you doing with it?

Who are you serving with it?

How are you nurturing yourself and serving yourself?

Get very specific and detailed,

My friends.

Feel it in your body.

Feel it in your body.

And now choose one more desire,

One more area of your life to focus on and see it in detail.

This life of my dreams,

This possibility that I'm opening myself to.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

How good does it feel?

How free do you feel?

How alive do you feel?

How joyful,

How tender is your heart?

How excited are you?

How thrilled are you?

Welcome this fullness of your life.

Breathe into your heart.

Breathe into every cell of your body.

Welcome this.

Know it to be true.

Yes,

This is my life.

One thing we don't realize is our dreams don't come to fruition because we're not actually committed to them.

We live our lives randomly thinking that our dreams aren't possible or we give up.

We give up because we get lazy or because we're afraid of failure.

We give up.

Almost every success story you read from famous people in business to athletes to even spiritual teachers who serve millions on the planet,

If they had given up because it didn't seem that their dream was coming to fruition,

They wouldn't be where they are today.

Some people take years and years to continue to take one action a day towards their dreams coming true.

It's not about instant gratification.

It's about patience and perseverance and keeping the fires of your desire stoked,

Keeping the fires of your imagination expanding.

So right now in this moment,

What is one action step that you could take today,

Even if it's the middle of the night where you are,

Maybe it's the next morning you choose,

But what is one action step you could take today towards a dream,

Towards a desire that you have for your life?

And remember it's about specificity,

Being specific.

Maybe that one action is eating something healthy or calling someone who might be able to give you great ideas or support you networking.

Maybe it's about practicing something new.

And one more action step,

An action step that you could take this week.

It's Monday for many of us,

Maybe Tuesday for some.

What is one action that you could take this week?

It's different from the one you're taking today.

You don't realize it,

But often our dreams coming to fruition,

Manifesting our dreams is about an action step,

Baby step after a baby step after a baby step.

Very good,

Let's take a breath together.

Just open the arms,

Open the arms,

Become available to life.

Say yes,

Say yes out loud,

Just say yes.

Be open to something more.

You've been feeding all of those limiting patterns and behaviors for so long.

Let's say yes to something new and then commit to it.

Commit to it.

Remember to take baby steps toward it every single day.

So if you haven't already,

I invite you to move the body a little and open the eyes and notice how does the world around you look in this moment?

Maybe you're looking at the exact same room you've been looking at for days and weeks and months and years.

What's different about it right now?

What's different about how you feel inside?

It looks bright,

Yes.

This practice,

My friends,

Is not going to eradicate every limiting belief you hold.

This practice is to show you the power of your own mind,

To show you the power of your heart,

And to show you that if you stay committed to your desires and keep stoking the fire of imagination,

That anything is possible.

It's when we give up that we give way to all of these limiting beliefs and behaviors.

And it's not a stroke of luck,

You have everything you need right now.

And it doesn't mean that we don't need each other along the way.

It just means that the more we cultivate training our minds and our brains and our state,

Our emotional,

Physical,

Mental state,

To say yes,

To stoke the imagination,

To be open to our desires manifesting through our actions and our dedication,

Anything is possible.

So I invite you,

My friends,

I invite you to journal.

Let your desires just pour out of you and write them as if they're already happening.

This has been one of my personal practices for a long time,

And I've seen many things in my life manifest because of it.

Come to fruition.

I won't go into all of the brain science today.

Many of you have heard me speak on it quite often.

But when we train the brain and use our minds to imagine that which we are wanting,

See it in every detail and feel how amazing it is to have this thing or this experience in our life,

When we practice that on a daily basis,

We literally train the brain to create pathways to make that a reality for us.

If I imagine that I'm living on the beach or I'm living in some beautiful house on the beach and I imagine that every single day and I feel how good it is and I see myself in my beach house and I see myself on the beach and I feel so happy and alive and passionate,

When I do this regularly,

The brain says,

Oh,

This is important,

So we better help.

We better make it happen.

So it will literally help me start to see the beach house that's for sale.

Someone who is offering great real estate services.

It will help me see a beautiful piece of property on the beach.

It will help me see things and even make connections with others that I couldn't see before when I was constantly feeding the thoughts of doubt and limitation.

When I feed the thoughts of possibility,

Unboundedness,

Empowerment,

When I feed those thoughts and most especially the feelings on a regular basis,

The brain helps to create it to be a reality.

It's incredible and it's all in you,

All in you.

What we did today isn't going to make all of the old beliefs and behaviors go away.

They're really trained right now.

To possibility on a regular basis so that you train the brain and the subconscious mind to live in that way of being and that way of thinking.

You are so precious and this life of yours is so precious.

It can be unbounded if you wish it.

And know that many of the limiting beliefs and behaviors that we hold,

They're part of our journey.

I wouldn't say many.

They are all part of our journey.

And what I mean by this is so many of these limiting behaviors and beliefs are in some way a way for us to grow into who we choose to be.

Every challenging experience,

Every limitation can also be a great teacher.

Our patterns and our habits,

They can all be great teachers.

Sometimes we need to see what we don't want to know what we do want.

Yes.

So no need to beat yourself up.

If you fall into those habits,

You're going to fall into those habits.

Let yourself know right now these old patterns and beliefs and behaviors are still going to come up.

Start using your innate power to train yourself to experience something new or at least be open to something new.

Yeah.

We have a solution for the pain.

And yes,

Yes,

Sometimes just choosing to shift out of those old ways of being,

Choosing to move the body and breathe and say yes and do something different is a way to shift.

And sometimes we need to be able to say,

I feel really upset right now and it's okay.

And as many of you have heard me share often,

For me,

It's about not stoking the mind,

Meaning not feeding the stories of the mind.

Maybe I feel really upset.

And so I put my hand on my heart and I say,

I just feel so angry.

I feel so angry.

If I sit here and think about why I think I feel angry,

I'll never get out of that.

It'll be a loop that just goes on and on and on.

I feel angry and I'm feeling angry.

I can't believe that person.

I feel angry and it just goes on and on and on until I'm totally exhausted and unavailable for myself and for the people in my life.

So I go in and I feel it.

Oh,

It feels so fucking angry.

I feel so angry.

Let my body just express the anger,

But I don't feed all of the disempowering stories.

I don't feed all of the angry stories.

If I feel so sad and I just feel like my heart's breaking,

I let myself feel it and I let myself feel it,

But I do my best not to feed the stories of the mind.

Sometimes it can be helpful to let the mind just play out or to talk it out,

Right?

Sometimes it can be really helpful to talk it out if we're feeling upset.

After you've talked it out once,

Maybe twice,

If you keep finding yourself talking about it or thinking about it,

Know you're on that loop.

You're in that loop.

So give yourself permission to feel fully.

This is not a practice to repress or suppress.

And if you want to play with it,

Because there's no handbook that says there's one way.

It's not black and white.

It's not like this is when I let myself feel and this is when I use my practices to change my state.

Sometimes you just have to feel it out.

Sometimes I'm like,

You know what?

I really just need to change my state.

Sometimes I'll go for a couple of months and I'll just commit to that.

If I start to feel really sad,

I'll just change my state.

If I start to feel really angry,

I'll change my state.

If I feel like it's lingering,

That's when I know something just needs to be tended to.

Meaning that's when I know I just need to give myself permission to feel.

Because otherwise we repress and we spiritually bypass.

It's going to be okay.

I'm great.

I'm so powerful.

And meanwhile,

I feel like I'm dying inside.

So start to use your own awareness.

I don't know what was said before this,

But I see Klaus's comment of stop gossiping.

Many of you know I've been studying with my beloved teacher,

Simon,

For about 20 years.

And that was the first teaching.

I was 18.

I was 18.

And an 18-year-old,

Even a spiritually minded one,

I was a wild child.

Don't get me wrong.

But I was very spiritually minded and very loving.

And I totally gossiped because that's what so many people do.

We just gossip.

We talk about other people.

And that was one of the first teachings that really transformed my life in my studies with Simon.

Stop gossiping.

Stop gossiping.

Stop gossiping.

Stop speaking about other people.

It is poison.

It is absolute poison.

Stop speaking about other people.

Just stop.

You're poisoning yourself and you're poisoning the energetic field of that person.

And if you're,

If you know that person,

If they're part of your life,

Then you're poisoning the relationship as well.

Stop gossiping.
