Sometimes there are moments in life where it feels like everything is falling apart.
It might be related to our job,
Our relationship,
Our body,
Finances,
Whatever it is.
There are these moments where we feel like everything is pointless,
Like there's nothing we can do to make a difference.
The emotions run high,
Maybe we feel anxious,
Afraid,
Angry,
Resentful.
Maybe there's so much sadness and grief that we feel like we're in an ocean of tears.
But what always happens?
What happens every time we're in one of these inescapable situations?
Does it always remain the same?
Is it truly that way forever?
Or is there a break in the storm?
Is there a little bit of good news?
Or maybe a lift in your spirits and you just start to feel good again?
Maybe your body starts to feel better.
Maybe the relationship becomes more harmonious.
Or maybe it completes and you start to feel like yourself again.
Everything in this life is temporary.
What is the one consistent thing in all of these experiences?
The highs and the lows,
Those moments where we don't see any way out of the pain we're experiencing.
The one consistent is us.
We are the ones having this experience.
We are the ones feeling the emotions.
Having the thoughts about the situation.
Have you ever noticed that you can be in a really rough place inside,
Really not feeling good?
And then somebody catches you off guard and you laugh for just a moment.
Or you crack a smile accidentally.
And for that split second you feel something else,
Some joy,
Some relief,
Some lightness.
And then your mind has to remind you that you don't feel good.
And so you immediately go back to not feeling good.
Our internal experience is always changing.
The one consistent is the one who is experiencing all of these things.
The one who feels the emotions,
Who watches the thoughts.
But knows that the emotions will pass and the thoughts will also change.
Because of their temporary nature,
They are not who we really are.
Who we really are is the unshakable presence that is here in the moments that we feel the worst and down.
And the moments that we feel the best and connected.
So again,
Maybe you find yourself in this moment in one of those impossible situations.
Maybe you feel like you're in the middle of a dark tunnel.
You can't see where you entered and you can't see the light at the other end.
You feel alone and you don't know what to do.
I promise you that if you take a step and another step towards what you really want,
Because what you really want isn't a thing,
It's a feeling.
What you really want isn't that relationship.
It's how the relationship can make you feel or how you think it will make you feel.
What you really want isn't that car.
It's the way you think having that car will feel inside.
Even the idea of having enough money to simply pay your bills and feed yourself.
As much as those things are great and food is necessary to stay alive,
What you really want is the feeling of relief that those things are happening.
The feeling of being able to let go and know that there's food on the table for your family or feel the contentment in your own body of feeling full.
So if you're in that space of feeling like you're in this dark tunnel and you don't know which way to go,
Take a step towards that good feeling that you want.
That deep desire inside to feel free,
To feel love,
To feel peaceful.
Take a step toward that in the dark.
Maybe there's something in your life that awakens that feeling.
Step towards that.
But you don't even need something outside of you to awaken the good feeling that you're wanting.
Isn't it true that you must have experienced this feeling at some point in your life?
Otherwise,
How would you know that that's what you want?
You must have at least experienced a taste of that harmony,
Peace,
Love,
Freedom.
It lives inside of you.
So even if it's only in the mind in this moment,
Say to yourself,
No matter how broken you feel,
You are not broken,
My love.
You are not broken.
You are having an experience that feels like you're breaking.
You're having an experience where you feel lost.
You're having an experience where you don't know what to do.
It's an experience and it will pass.
So for now,
Use your mind.
I am peace.
I am love.
Remember,
Remember that part of you,
Even if it's been years,
Even decades,
Since you remember feeling that good feeling.
Remember a time that you did.
Remember that moment so fully in your body that you can't help but feel a little bit of that goodness.
You are not alone,
Beloved.
You are not alone.
We are here on this planet together.
And to quote Ram Dass,
We are walking each other home.
So take a step.
Take a step towards the goodness of what you really want.
The mind is so comfortable thinking about everything we don't want.
It's so patterned to think about all the things that aren't working and that we don't want.
So start to think about what you do want and the good feeling that comes with it.
And walk towards that.
Baby steps,
One step at a time,
Just one thought,
I am love.
One simple action,
Offer a hug or an ear of listening to someone who's also in pain.
One step day by day,
Put something nourishing in your body temple.
Put something nourishing in your mind temple.
One kind thought,
One loving thought.
Take these steps,
Small steps,
One by one.
And before you know it,
The darkness of this tunnel,
This space of not knowing where to go or what to do will begin to fill with light as you see your path,
As you feel that you're okay.
That it's going to be okay.
No matter how you feel in this moment,
I promise you this will pass.
I promise you this feeling will turn into another feeling and another and another.
How many different feelings and thoughts have you had since birth?
Remember they weren't always painful.
Remember even a moment,
You're so loved.
You're so very loved.
I love you.

You are my heart.
I am yours.
We are here together.
Call on me.
Call on your own heart.
I believe in you.
Anything is possible that you put your brilliant,
Creative,
Beautiful mind to.
Your heart is so pure,
So beautiful.
Put that heart into your day,

It's time to release the old stories of who you think you are or what you think you are.
