Start to notice the quality of the breath.
Is it shallow or deep?
Does it feel smooth or rough?
And without needing to change the breath,
Just start to witness this natural experience of the breath.
Allow the day to fall away from the mind with each breath in.
You're breathing in this sense of ease.
And with each breath out,
You're letting go of whatever might be keeping you from feeling completely at ease in this moment.
Feel the whole body sinking a little more into this support beneath you.
There's absolutely nothing for you to do in this moment.
This time is just for you.
Bring your awareness to the space between the eyebrows and take a deep conscious breath into this part of the body,
Almost as if the breath was reaching into the brain.
This luminescent teardrop of light that moves into the center of the brain on the inhalation and begins to expand this beautiful light into the whole brain on the exhalation.
And as you see or feel this light illuminating the brain,
Waves and waves of calm and ease begin to wash through you.
See this light fill the entire head with this sense of warmth and allowing.
As if someone was gently cradling your head in a warm bath,
Feel this light begin to move down the spine,
Illuminating the entire body.
Sense the warmth of this light as it moves down the arms into the hands fingers.
Feel this sense of allowing as your entire torso,
Chest,
Belly,
Back are illuminated with this breath of life.
This deep ease pours down the legs into the feet and toes.
The breath is relaxed and this feeling of being suspended floating,
Being held in this place of expansion.
Your entire body nurtured in this warm bath of light.
Bring your awareness to the heart and allow the heart to relax.
In this moment,
You are held,
You are loved.
And there is nothing for you to effort.
Feel the lungs expand effortlessly.
This natural space of breath expanding.
Bring your awareness to the throat.
Allow any and all tension in the throat to melt away.
The jaw relaxes and the throat feels more and more expanded,
Weightless.
The ease of the lungs feels weightless.
The openness,
The softness of the heart feels weightless.
Notice the bones of the hips.
Feel the hips and pelvis with your breath.
See again this light expanding in the hips and pelvis.
Feel the waves of relaxation.
The hips become lighter and more free,
Floating.
