A very simple meditation in which we encourage the mind to repeatedly give birth to the thought, "Where is the mind now?" so that we catch ourselves mind-wandering and redirect our attention back toward our present-moment sensory experience.

So sitting with soft eyes and a soft,

Open,

Receptive field of attention,

Just allowing your attention to rest,

Full of sensations of the breathing arising from all over the body and from time to time today,

I invite the thought,

Where is your mind now,

To bubble up into awareness,

Helping you to recognise when the mind has been distracted and helping you to come back to soft eyes,

To an open and receptive field of attention and to the richness of the sensations arising in this present moment,

Where is the mind now,

Where is your mind now,

And right now,

Where is the mind,

So I invite you to continue sitting for the next couple of minutes until you hear the bell,

Allowing this thought to bubble up into awareness.

Grounded and present with ample silence. His voice invites my heart to open. What a delightful accompaniment to my morning walking meditation in the woods- surrounded by nature and birdsong. I will return to this one.

Very nice Bodhi. Every time you asked the question, my mind was elsewhere. Then it settled and felt calm. Thank you. ☮️💖🙏🖖🪷🕉

Lots of silence to allow a deep meditation with no music, no commentary, just a few gentle reminders to stay with the focus of the question inviting you back to the moment. Perfect!
