Welcome to this intention setting meditation practice.
This meditation is perfect to do at the start of your day or any time you need to anchor in to a clear intention for yourself,
For your day,
Or for your life.
So please come into a comfortable seat,
You're welcome to close your eyes,
Or maybe just keeping your eyes softly open,
Gazing downward,
And begin to tune into your breath.
And as you breathe in and breathe out,
Let yourself feel this wave of the breath moving through you.
Beginning to call all parts of you back home into this moment.
Breathing out,
Inviting your body and your mind to relax.
And tapping into the sacredness of this moment.
Letting go of any external distractions,
And drawing your attention in even deeper.
Almost as if you have x-ray vision and you can see all the way down into the space behind your navel,
Connecting to your own center.
And take one or two more deep breaths right into your center,
Feeling your belly expand as you breathe in.
Feeling your belly relax and release as you breathe out.
And from this connected place,
This present place,
What is your intention for this day,
For yourself,
For your life?
See if you can come up with one succinct statement.
And to make your intention even more potent,
Consider adding the words I am at the front of it.
For example,
Your statement might be,
I am bringing peace with me into my day.
Or I am accepting of myself just as I am.
Whatever your intention is,
Say it silently or out loud to yourself three times.
Each time you repeat this intention,
Feel it anchoring deeper and deeper into every fiber of your being.
Now bring your awareness again back to your breath.
And again,
As you breathe in,
Let that breath travel right down deep into your own center.
Feeling your intention becoming energized within you.
And as you breathe out,
Let go of any doubts,
Any worries,
Any stress,
Any fatigue,
Any negative energy that could keep this intention from becoming fully manifest for you today.
Let's take one more deep breath into the belly.
And this time just sigh it out through an open mouth.
When you feel ready,
You can gently begin to blink your eyes open.
And if you'd like,
Draw your palms to press in front of your chest or rest your hands right over your heart space.
And remember that every thought,
Every word,
And every action you take is an opportunity to manifest your desires and bring this intention to life.
