Hello and welcome to Awaken Your Best Self Meditation.
Come into a comfortable seat or you could even lie down if you'd prefer.
We're going to take these first few moments to just settle into the body.
So take a full breath breathing in and as you breathe out just feeling the outer shell of your body letting go.
And then notice if any parts of your body just feel a little out of place and adjust as needed.
Checking in with your shoulders,
Maybe letting go through the jaw and inviting your breath to travel down into the space of your belly.
So let your belly be soft and just notice the belly expanding as you breathe in and relaxing as you breathe out.
And see if you can actually slow your breath down a little bit more and also deepen your breath.
So draw in a little bit more air on your inhalation without stress or strain and then slowly and completely release all the air out through your exhalation.
Just repeat that a few times just kind of resetting your breath to a slower rhythm.
Great now that your body is a little bit more settled you're a little bit more present I'm going to guide you to use your mind's eye to align with the best version of you.
So using your internal gaze I want you to look through the screen of your forehead.
At first it may seem like you're gazing at a black chalkboard or a blank canvas.
This is an energetic space where you can use your imagination and creativity to build anything you want.
And today you're going to create an image of your best self,
Who you are when you feel empowered and are expressing authentically.
So as you gaze through the screen of your forehead begin to conjure up an image of the best version of you.
And you want to get as detailed as you can here.
So you can notice how your hair is styled,
The expression on your face,
Notice also the clothes that you're wearing and how your body is positioned or aligned.
Are you sitting?
Are you standing?
Are you moving?
Also you want to notice the energy that you're exuding.
Getting as detailed as possible as you create this image of yourself,
Your best self.
And you may also want to check in with where you're at.
Are you at home?
Are you in nature?
Are you with anyone?
Keep visualizing this version of you and at the same time feel your breath coming in and flowing out.
Taking in this image of you as you relax your body a little bit more.
Now I want you to look directly into your own eyes,
Into this reflection of you,
And look with great love and admiration.
Fully appreciate this version of you.
Take another breath,
Breathing in and out.
Good.
Now you're going to breathe this image,
This image of your most beautiful self,
Into your heart.
So inhale and just imagine that image coming right in via the breath,
Down into your heart space.
And as it enters your heart,
Just love this version of you up even more and hold it in your heart for a few moments.
This version of you,
In some ways,
Is a reflection of your potential.
And it's not to negate who you are in this moment,
If it seems other than this image that you've created,
But it's to also invite in all of your greatness.
Now you're going to begin to let this image go and allow your heart to circulate it throughout your body,
Delivering this magnificent image of your best self to every cell.
As this occurs,
Say to yourself silently or out loud,
I awaken my true self.
I turn on the light of who I am and I choose to express as this in the world.
I awaken my true self.
I turn on the light of who I am and I choose to express as this in the world.
Take a nice deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And once again,
Feel your whole body,
Right,
Those trillions of cells in your body receiving this attunement to this version of you,
To your potential,
Your truth,
Your light.
Now bring your hands and just rest them over your heart and take a moment to be grateful for this activation within yourself today.
Grateful for this moment,
For your body,
Your breath.
And then just take one last breath,
Breathing in deeply,
Breathing out completely to seal in all the goodness from this practice.
