Our intuition and access to a bigger support is always there. It is available to us in abundance. It is in constant flow. It doesn't abandon us, but we can abandon it. It makes a profound difference when we take time at the very beginning of the day to welcome and tap into this flow. I share my practice - and specific words I use to call in deep guidance and wisdom - as a meditation. This is of course a very private communion for each of us and your own words are invited.

This is a practice for tuning in to your deep inner wisdom,

Your intuition,

Your sensing body,

Right from the beginning of your day.

I do this from the moment I wake up,

Before I've even got out of bed.

I feel when I do this that I'm capturing that really special,

Almost mystical time of transitioning from sleep and dreams and other realms,

And from my unconscious into consciousness,

Back into the world.

And it's important to start our days in integrity,

Meaning in integration with ourselves,

Our whole selves.

So this practice really does two things.

It creates a sense of welcome,

It's a ritual of welcoming yourself into your being,

Your living,

Experiencing being,

And into the outside world.

And it's a practice of deliberately and consciously opening up to guidance,

Opening up to a flow,

A current of revelation,

Of insight,

Of intuition,

In whatever in whatever form you believe you experience,

You sense that comes,

And from where.

Deep within every single one of us is a source of unbreakable support,

Truth,

Wholeness,

Knowing.

It's hard sometimes to find words for it,

But it's something we can certainly sense.

And we can sense when we're close to it,

And that this is flowing freely and availably to us inside.

And we can sense when we get disconnected from it.

So again,

Coming into integrity with that,

Coming into communion and contact with that deeper knowing at the beginning of the day,

And asking,

Literally offering yourself to remain available to it,

No matter what happens throughout your day,

Is super powerful,

And actually a very nourishing way of beginning in your own spirit,

In your own being,

Your own day.

So as usual,

Start,

Begin by being somewhere that's comfortable and safe for you.

And as I say,

I stay in bed.

It's really good to do this before you've spoken to another person.

Those of you with little ones who are unpredictable in what time they're going to wake you up,

Then you choose a time that works for you,

Obviously.

But if you do have a choice,

Try this,

Try doing it before you've actually ventured away any distance at all from your own being,

No matter how sleepy you feel.

And then take some deep breaths for yourself with a sense of traveling inward.

Feel where you're lying or sitting,

Feel your weight surrendering to that.

And be aware,

Softly,

With the soft eyes of your skin,

Of outside space,

That it's just there,

The soft air,

Temperature on your skin,

And any sounds that are slightly dreamy and distant still from you.

And make the most important thing your own breathing,

The feeling of your breath in your body,

The feeling of that movement and how your body moves with that breath,

And the sense that you are making contact with your depths.

With every inhale,

Feel yourself gathering in,

Gathering deeply to all your inner realms,

Your depths,

Gathering deeply toward the very core of your being.

There may be a particular part of your body where you feel that is,

Where the confluence of your breath comes together.

And then as you exhale,

Feel that spreading out of all that you're drawing from,

This deep source,

This well of your being,

That spreading out of that essence throughout the whole shape of your body.

Just take some breaths like this.

Inhale,

Gathering in to you and to that which guides you,

Your source,

Sacred,

Knowing,

Powerful,

Loving and wise.

And exhaling,

Feeling that essence travel through every part of you.

Feel it in your body around your whole being.

And what that feels like to you,

This magical alchemy,

This gathering into this deep,

Sacred source within only you.

And then feeling that powering through your body with your out-breath.

And thinking of whatever bigger spirit or wisdom or nature there is around you and in you,

This mystery we call life,

This universe,

This creation we find ourselves in and a part of.

All the magic,

All the surprise,

The miracle,

That sense of sacred,

However that expresses itself to you,

However you feel that.

Invoke it now.

Breathing together with this.

You probably are already feeling this.

If you have specific guides you call in,

Go ahead and call them with your mind,

In pictures or with your voice.

And the word,

The mantra is welcome.

Just breathe deeply with the word welcome.

Inhaling,

Gathering in.

Welcome.

Welcome your whole self,

Your whole being and welcome what you want to invoke,

Who and what,

That power,

That mystery.

And as you breathe out,

Welcome your whole being,

Every part of you.

Just as your breath travels around every part of your being and it's with your thoughts and it's with your emotions,

Let your welcome travel to all those places too and embrace them.

Bring them in and welcome everything you need for today and everything you want in this inner space of yours,

This sacred place,

This being,

This who you are.

And then these are the words that I use.

You're welcome to try them.

When I speak to my guides,

I'm listening,

I'm available,

I'm awake.

I'm listening,

I'm available,

I'm awake.

That's all I need to tell them.

Opening the channel.

I know I'm supported and I eagerly embrace and welcome that support,

That flow of intuition.

I'm listening all day.

I'm available.

I'm not going to close off this channel.

I want to learn.

I want to grow.

I'm awake in every moment.

So you could try those words or use your own and feel the response.

Feel the way energy is sparkling in your body now.

You may feel like there are little touches inside of you,

Thousands and thousands,

Movement,

Currents that you feel physically in your energy body and breathe there.

By all means,

Breathe with ease.

This magical flow which has been opened up inside of you by you,

It's profound.

And this way of beginning your day or any moment you want to establish this connection,

This contact which is yours all the time.

Bring in guidance which is available to you all the time.

Claim that and enjoy that.

It is there for you.

You are available.

You are awake to it.

You are listening.

You're sensing.

You're feeling.

And then in gratitude of this,

In cherishing,

Take a few more moments deeply here with your being,

With your breath and with your deepest source of sacred wisdom and love.

The flow of your intuition,

The contact between you and those larger forces.

And then keeping that sense of being deeply within.

You can open your eyes if they're not already open and take your hands and bring your hands together but with your palms open like a cup,

As if your hands are cupping the air.

You've created a cup there.

And bring them up close to you,

Close to your heart and just underneath your breath.

And try this.

Take a deep breath into all that is flowing in you,

Through your nose and then sweetly exhale through your mouth into the cup,

Blowing sweetly,

Expressing sweetly from yourself.

Try that a few times,

Inhaling into all this sacred depth,

All that is you.

And then sweetly offering it on the crest of your breath out into the world.

You may have your own words as you make your offering.

As you send your blessings and bless the day ahead of you and all those you come into contact with,

You may have your own words.

And may you feel your blessing and send and express this blessing all day long.
