Fall into a peaceful sleep to the sound of wise words and reminders. Feel yourself releasing all tension and experiencing peace and contentment as your body-mind re-sets itself to what is beautifully true about being you, being human and being here. Good night, precious soul.

Hello my friend and welcome.
No matter what's going on for you in your life,
The invitation in this space that you're softening into is to feel more relaxed and at peace with yourself as you listen to reminders of the wisdom and truth that you already know underneath all those layers,
Deep in your bones.
And it is my hope that these reminders will be like a warm hug perhaps or a flow of fresh air that breathes grace somewhere into your being that really needed it and will nourish your heart,
Bring serenity to your thoughts and some relief and release to anything holding in your body so that you my friend can simply soften and relax back into your body,
Your home here and maybe into sleep if that's what you came here for or simply to lighten and restore you.
Can you begin by settling into being at home in your body again and where you are,
Knowing this is your space,
All for you and your time.
Take a breath in and exhale slowly,
Feeling your body relaxing,
Getting a sense of being in your body and your body landing and as you make yourself comfortable do whatever feels good for you and see if you can create a sense of sanctuary for yourself.
Softening down your precious eyelids,
Letting your jaw go,
Relaxing your cheekbones and the back of your head just letting that soften like silk,
Let go of your tongue.
Continue down your body,
Feeling your body become heavy,
Gently closing your eyes if you haven't yet,
Feeling your body dropping into its support completely,
Nothing to hold onto,
Knowing you are safe my friend,
You are safe,
You're doing the best that you can each moment with what you have and you're doing really well.
And I hope that you can just let yourself off the hook for anything right now,
Give yourself some grace so that you can thank yourself for allowing you to be here now and let it sink in that your wonderful human nature is to be peaceful,
Happy,
Loving and wise.
So take a moment to breathe right into the space of your chest,
Your heart centre,
Breathing in that cool refreshing air and breathing out letting go of all that tension,
Feeling it leave you like mist clearing,
Saying thank you to your heart for being so loving and wise and thank you to your body for keeping you safe and being here with you.
Perhaps another conscious breath in and another one out and relax,
Relaxing your whole chest and your body,
Let go.
And now just let these words move towards you and flow oh so lightly into your inner awareness.
All you have to do here is receive,
Nothing for you to do,
No effort at all.
There are people in your life who are thinking of you right now.
In this very moment you're being held in someone's thoughts even though you're not in their presence.
Everybody is human and nobody is perfect.
You're not perfect,
I'm not perfect and neither of us really wants to be or needs to be perfect.
We're not perfect and we're doing great.
The next time you realise you're being a little hard on yourself you can think about all of the beautifully imperfect people that you love.
You can accept them as they are can't you?
You're thankful for them,
You love them floors and all.
You deserve that kind of love don't you think?
I think so.
Start by giving it to yourself.
You have impact and make a difference even when you don't feel it.
You're making a difference right now.
There are people on this earth who are changed for the better just by knowing you or even having met you for the briefest time.
Be yourself so the people looking for you can find you.
You have come so far my friend.
Even though you might realise it you're growing and healing a little every single day.
And you're always creating something every day,
Building something.
I wonder if you can imagine all the past versions of yourself standing right in front of you now smiling.
Overflowing with so much pride looking at how far you've come.
They're so inspired to keep shining with you.
Shine brightly.
The magic happens once you accept that you can't regulate others emotions or experiences.
You have to let that go.
That's not in your control.
And that's when you begin to live your most authentic life.
Some people will not get you and some people will.
But what matters is that you get to be kind,
To help others and to live for yourself too.
Life is so full of goodness and special moments and it really just needs us to turn our gaze towards it.
Feeling butterflies in your stomach because you're excited about something.
Calm summer nights.
Cozy autumn mornings.
Falling in love.
A new TV show or an unexpected surprise.
Finding your favourite song.
Clean sheets.
Fresh flowers.
Fresh fruit.
Reorganising your room.
Cleaning the windows so the light streams in.
Dancing.
There is no need to compare yourself to others.
There's no correct way to be in this world.
So just be who you are because you are absolutely perfect that way.
What did you do as a child that made hours pass like minutes?
This is the key that each day unlocks your beautiful life on earth.
You can be a kind person and say no to invitations.
You can be a kind person and look after your own needs.
You can be a kind person and change your mind.
Cancel plans.
The people who are your people will expect this of you,
Want this for you and respect this from you.
Happiness is not a prize,
It's a presence.
You can just let joy in.
Even now you can let joy in.
Even if you're still healing.
Even if the dishes aren't done.
Or that piece of work has not been finished.
Even if you cried this morning.
You can let joy in because happiness is a presence,
Not a prize.
Isn't it true that there are things in your life today that once you only dreamed about?
There are things you can do that once you never believed you could.
And there are people in your life who have brought you gifts you could not even have imagined.
And there is more,
Always more,
Goodness and magic to come.
Perfectionism says we can't make mistakes and wisdom says we can and we probably will over and over again.
What if there wasn't such a thing as a mistake?
Only learning and exploring and being in different experiences.
Forgive yourself,
Let it go.
There is nothing wrong with you.
The biggest illusion in our world is that there is a standard we have to meet or a place we have to reach.
You,
My friend,
Are enfolded into the ever-changing vitality of life.
A tree doesn't tell itself not to be a tree.
A flower is happy to be a flower and bloom anyway it wants.
You too,
My friend,
You too.
You are goodness in the form of life and energy.
You are goodness in the vessel of a body.
You are the goodness of your own heart.
And you have always been good right from the beginning.
This breath.
Your head.
These hands.
Those feet.
Your smile.
Your ears.
Your heart.
This breath.
This body.
You.
You are so so good.
And you are loved.
You are so loved.
You are so lovable.
And maybe maybe it's not about proving that you're lovable but accepting that you are.
Let every particle of your body now drop and relax into support.
Because you are safe.
And you are here.
And you are love.
You are love incarnate in a body.
And you are a gift.
Your heart.
Your body.
Your own essence that no one else has such a gift and meant to be here.
And this is all you need to know.
This is all you need to know.
Let yourself rest sweet precious you.
Let yourself be.
Let yourself go.
