Pick me up meditation.

You know some days they're like bad hair days.

It's like the worst day ever.

And when we have those days it's just really hard to shake them.

It could be anything that's happened that's brought you down.

Your team may have lost the match.

Your mum or dad not happy with you again.

You got a big fat F fail on your exam or you get dumped.

And you know what?

It doesn't matter how old you are,

Young or old,

We all have bad days.

But what you learn as you get older,

Life is a series of choices and so are our thoughts and so are our feelings.

And so when you're having one of those really bad days and you really need to pick me up,

Just come into this space right here,

Right now.

When you feel ready,

Gently close your eyes and breathe.

Just breathe in and just let go as you breathe out.

Letting everything go as you breathe out.

Breathing in and just holding on for a little longer.

Just any sadness or tension,

Stress and exhale as you breathe out.

Let go,

Release,

Just unravel and just give yourself permission to have this quiet space,

This time for yourself right now.

Breathing in and go as you breathe out.

Just imagine now that you're standing on a beach.

Beautiful,

Beautiful beach.

Your feet are bare and your toes are wriggling in the sand.

Really enjoying that sensation on your feet as you breathe in and release as you breathe out.

And now imagine a gentle breeze of wind is slowly caressing your face,

Your hair,

All the way over your body,

All the way down to your toes in the sand.

Just let this wind gently release the pain,

The worry,

The stress,

The hurt.

Just let it go.

Let it all go with the wind and blow as you stand on the shore.

Breathing in and letting go as you breathe out.
