Morning meditation.
So often we can launch out of bed and the day gets away from us before we've taken a minute or two to connect with ourselves.
So use this time now to take a couple of minutes before you leap out of bed to focus on your breath,
To center yourself and wake up.
So sit in a comfortable position,
Completely upright in your bed,
Ensuring you are very comfortable and present.
Gently close your eyes and turn your attention to your breath.
Notice the natural rise and fall of your belly,
Allowing yourself to feel more centered,
Grounded,
Present with each new breath.
Imagine now warm golden sunlight hovering above your head and it's slowly oozing all the way down your body,
Warming up every part of your body.
This warm golden sun is waking up your eyes,
Your ears,
Nose and mouth.
It's oozing all the way down your throat,
Through to your chest.
Gaining momentum now as it moves down through your body,
All the way through to your toes.
This warm golden sun allowing you to feel more energized,
Present and awake for the day ahead.
So breathe in this warm golden sun.
