Coming to a comfortable position Either lying down or sitting up Taking a moment here to find what feels right for your body What hand position?
What neck position?
Will allow you to let go completely Taking each wrist and making a circle Allowing the cracks and the fluid in the wrist To find new places to rest Taking your ankles if you're in a position that makes it easy and making these circles Rehydrating all the fascia in your body If you're sitting up,
Taking a couple neck rolls Right ear to right shoulder Dipping the chin and left ear to left shoulder Taking some shoulder rolls,
Rolling the shoulders up,
Down and back Up,
Down and back Letting all of the movement now be replaced by stillness Taking a deep breath,
Filling your belly with air Holding at the top and release Again,
A deep healing breath into the stomach and exhaling I'll be taking you on a visualization If at any time the visualization does not suit you,
Just come back to focusing on your breath Imagine you are walking along an empty beach The sand molds with your every footstep The sound of water lapping along the beach,
Hypnotizing you The air is warm and a light breeze kisses your face The waves roll in and out,
Matching in time to your breath Inhaling,
The waves move towards the shore Exhaling,
Waves retract back out towards the ocean You stop walking and stare out to the ocean Inhaling,
Watching the water pool at your ankles Exhaling,
The waves take the sand around your ankles towards the ocean Feel that peace,
The bliss,
The calm circling your body Breathe it all in You begin to continue your walk along the beach When a breeze picks up and sweeps your hat right off of your head The hat waves around in the wind and you chase it towards the upper bank where it finally lands You run towards it quickly,
Hoping to snatch it before the breeze came Launching yourself onto the hat With your chest on the ground,
Notice that there is a mound of sand beside you The sand looks slightly out of place,
As if it was put there on purpose A turtle nest,
Do you realize?
Little turtle eggs are buried deep within the sand You suddenly feel very grateful for the breeze that carried your hat to this spot The universe,
Leading you to this turtle nest so that you can protect it You return to the spot later in the day to place a turtle nest protection cage around it to keep the predators away Each day you return to the nest,
Hopeful to see if you can spot any little turtles You picture the little baby turtles inside,
Growing within their shells growing bigger and stronger and knowing that they have everything inside their shell to make it to their birth One day you walk by and see this mound of sand looks disheveled You quickly look around to see if there's any baby turtles flapping their flippers across the sand but you see none You go back to inspect the protection cage and look at the sand around it but your heart sinks,
There are no clues to the turtles outcome You walk towards the ocean,
Taking the same path you imagined the baby turtles took and walk into the water,
Allowing the waves to lap at your feet Staring out at the ocean,
You feel that same sense of calm that washed over you the first day you found the nest The turtles were given everything they needed within their shells There was nothing more to do but to have faith in God,
Angels,
Universe that it was meant to be and if it was meant to be,
The turtles lived and were on their way to swim with their kin Our intentions,
Like the baby turtles,
Need to be given time to percolate,
To gestate They need to be given the space to grow and thrive,
Knowing that within us is everything they need to grow and that getting a little outside hope never hurts When it is time for our intentions to become a reality,
We have to keep faith in whatever higher power we believe in that even if there is no evidence of success,
That our hopes,
Dreams and goals will become a reality in the right time,
In the right place and for the highest good of all involved,
The highest good for ourselves and for our world Sit now with that faith deep in your heart,
Imagining your greatest hope that is cocooned in a shell It's ready to grow and blossom at the right time,
In the right place and in perfect harmony with the universe's plan Taking a deep breath in and exhale,
Slowly coming back into your body whenever you're ready
