Self-love for a highly sensitive person can be difficult - Self-love is a concept that many encourage but few explain how to receive. In this affirmation practice, I encourage you to repeat each affirmation after me, aloud or in your head. If you are able to also rub your hands on your arms while repeating the words after me - this will enhance the experience. The technique is called "havening" and I have found it to be deeply healing. I wish you self love and peace.

Hello sensitive soul,

Thank you for taking this intentional breath with me As a highly sensitive person we need to begin to self-parent ourselves This involves truly giving ourselves love and acceptance This can be difficult at first Please repeat after me these affirmations While repeating if you are able Rub your hands up and down your arms and hug yourself throughout There will be silence after each sentence so you can repeat the words Also if you feel comfortable add your name to the end of each sentence For example,

My favourite track when I’m spiraling. I come back to this track very often to calm my anxieties. Simple, to the point positive self talk. As an empath, I am often told by others to adjust my sensitivities to suit them. I think not. I listen to this. Thank you Allie.
