Repeat this deep breathing two more times at your own pace.

Now let your breath return to its natural rhythm.

Focus on the air as it enters and leaves your body.
With each inhale,
Welcome a feeling of calm and peace.
And with each exhale,
Let go of any stress or anxiety.
Traveling to new destinations can be exciting,
But it can also be overwhelming.
Your senses are heightened when you take in unfamiliar sights,
Sounds and smells.
And it's only natural to feel unbalanced as you adjust to this new environment.
This meditation will help you find grounding and peace amidst the excitement.
So that you can feel balanced and grounded in your adventures.
Now bring your awareness to the sensation of your body touching the ground or the seat beneath you.
Feel how the earth is supporting you,
Steady and secure.
Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine.
And from your feet,
Extending deep into the earth.
Like a tree,
These roots anchor you firmly into the ground.
To provide you with strength and stability.
While keeping your eyes closed,
Take a moment to notice your surroundings.
What do you hear?
Tune into these sounds.
What do you smell?
Tune into those scents.
And how do the surroundings feel?
Tune into the temperature of this new place.
Allow yourself to become fully present in the here and now.
Fully accepting and embracing this new environment.
Accept that it might take some time to adjust.
And that's perfectly okay.
As you continue to breathe in your natural rhythm.
Visualize a warm golden light beginning at the crown of your head.
With each breath,
See this light slowly moving down.
Passing through your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Your lips.
It brings a relaxing and soothing vibe.
And now let it travel down,
Down your neck.
Your shoulders,
Your arms.
Let this light melt away any tension that you may be feeling.
Let the light move down your chest,
Your stomach and your lower back.
Feel how it reaches your hips,
Your thighs.
Your knees and your calves.
And finally,
Let it flow all the way to your feet.
Connecting you with those grounding roots deep into the earth.
This golden light fills up your whole body.
It fills you up with a sense of peace,
Balance and belonging.
Wherever you go,
You can always come back to this feeling and take this feeling with you.
It's a feeling of coming home to yourself,
Wherever life takes you.
Repeat silently or out loud to yourself.
I am grounded.
I am balanced.
I am at peace.
