We often feel overwhelmed in our busy lives. This guided meditation is an invitation to take a moment for yourself and restore balance for your mind, body and soul. In just five minutes, release overwhelm and get back into a state of happiness and inner peace. Let go of pressure, recharge yourself, feel calmer and find a renewed sense of flow for the rest of your day.

Welcome to this guided meditation on releasing overwhelm.

In our busy lives it's easy to get overwhelmed and to feel pressure.

Today in this meditation I invite you to release those feelings of overwhelm and to find your inner peace and happiness again.

So let's begin.

We start with taking a deep breath in through your nose.

Hold your breath for a few seconds and release through your mouth.

Repeat this a couple of times.

When you breathe in focus on how your belly expands.

And when you breathe out release those feelings of overwhelm.

Focus on the relaxing music to feel calmer.

After taking these few deep breaths come back to your regular breathing again.

And whenever you're ready close your eyes.

Now imagine yourself in your beautiful home.

And you open the door and you walk into a relaxing garden.

It's quiet and peaceful.

It's full of beautiful trees and colorful flowers.

You walk into this garden and feel the ground beneath your feet.

You feel how it's grounding you and connecting you to the earth.

Then you notice a small lake in front of you and you walk towards it.

When you get there you look into the water.

It's so calm and peaceful.

You put your hands in the water.

It feels fresh and the movement creates a ripple effect on the surface.

These ripples reflect and represent your thoughts and feelings of overwhelm and pressure.

And by putting your hands in the water you can let go of this overwhelm.

Feel how it's being released and see how it is taken away by the ripples in the water.

You feel a weight lifted off your shoulders.

You feel how the pressure is being released.

You start to feel calm and relaxed.

We often don't give ourself permission to feel happy,

To feel good,

To feel at ease.

Now is your invitation to give yourself that permission and tell yourself in your mind or out loud I give myself permission to let go of overwhelm and pressure and to feel good.

I give myself permission to let go of overwhelm and pressure and to feel good.

Because you deserve to feel good.

You are amazing.

You are doing great.

Think about how far you've come.

You got this.

You deserve to feel good and to feel happy.

Take this feeling with you throughout the day and if any feelings of overwhelm or pressure show up remember this affirmation and tell yourself I give myself permission to let go of overwhelm and pressure and to feel good.

Whenever you're ready open your eyes.
