Finding yourself a place where it's quiet,
Without any distractions,
Turning off notifications on your phone.
Take a breath in and a breath out,
Allowing your eyes to close.
Bring the awareness to the thoughts of the mind.
Noticing thoughts arising and what you've got to do today.
And just letting all those thoughts in.
Bring your attention to your body.
Starting from the top of the head,
Slowly scanning down throughout your body.
From the head and face,
To the neck and shoulders.
And as you scan down,
Imagine sending a wave of relaxation to these areas.
Allowing them to soften and release.
Turning the arms to the hands,
Fingers,
Thumbs,
Turning the torso to the pelvis,
Turning the legs to the knees,
Lower legs,
Ankles,
Feet,
And toes.
The whole of the body softening,
Releasing.
Awareness to your breath.
Noticing the inhale.
And we exhale.
Allow your breath to become slow and steady,
Anchoring you.
To the present moment.
And as thoughts arise in your mind,
Gently acknowledge them.
And imagine each thought as a passing cloud in the sky.
Drifting away as quickly as it came.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Imagine yourself now accomplishing your tasks and goals for the day.
Visualize yourself moving through the day with focus and clarity.
Imagine the colors you see and how you feel.
See yourself completing each task with ease and confidence.
Feeling that sense of accomplishment.
Feeling motivated for the day ahead.
And when you're ready,
Gently opening the eyes,
Returning to the world around you,
Carrying with you a sense of determination to make today a productive and successful day.
